Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

ADD ME TO THE NTX FILE:
Hi Len, thanks for posting and welcome to the GT Famiglia and Forum. I agree with you on how good it is, but hopefully it will surface with a new engine at some point.
Enjoy and post often.

Ciao tutti!

I've been checking out the forum for a while and decided to "really" join.

It's a 2016 NTX, got it without a test ride, 7 miles, a couple of months ago.

Did the first maintenance (a bit overdue) on my Stelvio yesterday, all the oils. Plan on checking the valve clearance soon.

Italians really tightened everything up! Broke a socket while installing the Carc guard...

Aleks

Good move. I sold a 2016 R1200GS that just didn't work comfort wise for me. That flat cylinder head made it impossible to get my feet forward. I may need to remove the additional lights on this bike to get highway pegs but at least it is doable. I did love everything else about that bike however.

Should add I don't have one YET but it is my goal after the first of the year. They are gettin' scarce and I don't want to miss out.

Mike here. First time Guzzi owner. ZGULZU011GM200226. 2016 NTX Vulcano Rosso.
Purchased 10/7/17 from Pro-Italia in Glendale CA.
Traded a F800GS with almost 98K miles on her. Would have ridden it to 100k but had to jump on the NTX deal as they are not making them any longer and I have wanted one since 2013.

Thank you!

I'll post more, hard, info once I'm back "down south".

Added: 56 liter top case, 45 liter side cases(if anyone needs the original side cases let me know) sat phone, garmin nuvi with tire pressure sensors, light kit for the top case, 3 gallon spare fuel tank, tool kit with compressor, a particularly ugly but comfortable Corbin Saddle and to come led lighting. I know it all sounds like overkill but I am traveling on a 22000 mile trip alone some of which is up near the arctic circle and I suspect cell reception will be a tad spotty. 20171231 190411

Excellent, welcome @guzzialfa -- please post your VIN# and the rest of the info for the first post of this thread if you would.

How much did that Corbin Seat set you back? I have used Corbin in the past and think they are worth the money.
