Front Brake Buzzing

Is it normal to hear any rubbing of the front disc when you roll the bike, or a buzzing sound while riding? My 2014 V7 Racer is pretty new to me in the last couple months. Only ~500 miles on it. I got rear ended the other night, luckily with no real harm to me and pretty minor superficial damage to the bike.

After the accident I've been paying close attention to make sure nothing further is messed up. When I roll the bike across the garage I can hear some light rubbing of the front pads. I also notice a bit of a buzzing sound from the front brake while riding and it gets just slightly louder when applying the brake. Not alarming but it's there. I'm not noticing any impact on riding or braking. I'm trying to determine if maybe these were present (normal?) prior to the accident and I didn't notice, or if this is something I should have looked at more closely?

Thanks,
-Kyle

That sounds normal, but I would ride another just to confirm.
You can measure the front brake for run-out to confirm it is not bent. Other than that it sounds normal.

As Mike says, all sounds normal. When riding, you are hearing the pads skim across the drilled holes in the disc.

Thanks for the replies. That was my gut as well but wanted to make sure. This is the first bike I've had with disc brakes so I wanted to confirm it was normal. Now back to riding!
