I am curious if there is any significant performance benefit to convert from the MIU (scooter ecu) to dual TBs and 15M ecu?
I found a bike being parted out that has everything I need for the conversion and it got me thinking.

Both fuel injection systems do the same thing. There would be no performance advantage if all you did was swap out on FI system for the other. Even an aftermarket FI system alone would not offer a performance advantage worth the cost of the system. You would have to make other changes to the bike that allowed it to breath more air and then you could tweek the FI system to add more fuel. But just swapping one fuel injection system for another isn't going to make more power. And it would probably be more work than it seems like it should be. The devil is often in the details.

Question - with Cars when trying to get more power - we moved to Injectors with a higher flow rate to get more fuel for a Turbo Miata :) - MINI Cooper S with some work done.
Are the Injectors on the V7 III any where near being at their limit for *our* bikes ?

If your not getting any more Air into the engine - there's no point in trying g to add more fuel...

Todd has done both a big bore conversion for the V7 and a 4 valve per cylinder conversion, and I never heard him mention needing higher flow injectors. So I assume the stock injectors aren't near their duty cycle limit even with the increase in airflow.

4-valves per cylinder on a V7??? That's crazy land! Is Todd running Piaggio's Skunk Works?

Correct.

Kind of, with zero help, care or support from Piaggio or Guzzi of course. They all know well what I’m doing, but seem to care more about art projects.

It would be a disaster to try and swap the single throttle body or duals, nearly everything is different, including sensors/type and plugs. Net zero gains for anything if you did do it. We're all spinning wheels for a random post drive-by here.

Were bored and eager to entertain *nearly* any idea...
we are Armchair Mechanic’s

Come on Dad ! can’t we have any Fun :giggle:

You do realize you've created a Virtual Garage with the door open and 300 +/- people hanging around in it ?

Have all of the fun you’d like, I just don’t like wasting my time on people who never check back in. I’m not an arm chair mechanic, it’s a real business where I get paid for my knowledge for over a decade now. ;)

To the O.P.: Thanks for wasting everyone's time.
