Was able to get some excellent seat time in this past Sunday, left my home in Fredericksburg, VA and headed west. Amazing ride to the Swift Run Gap entrance to Skyline Drive. Headed north on Skyline and stopped for a quick hike and rock scramble up Bearfence Mountain. Continued north and left Skyline drive at Thorton Gap. What an amazing ride on the V7, almost 5 hours in the wind and cannot wait to get her back out there.

Thanks for the post, memories and smiles. In my late teens, I rode this almost every weekend. One day south with an overnight stay, and one day back. Once a year, we'd do a 2-week moto-trip and explore as much as time allowed. Part of my million miles East of the Mississippi before moving West.
Post often!
