Hi, my lad has v9 bobber and I love the look but not the handling!
So when the new v7(850) was announced I thought I might go for one of them so had a test ride last week.
Loved the handling/styling but fleet underwhelmed by the engines acceleration. So my question is are exhaust/inlet mods/ fuel tune ups available? Also are the rims on the special tubeless.
Am I right in thinking most years Guzzi change colours on V7.
Sorry for the long post.

Hi,

Spoked wheels seem to be tubed, aloys tubeless.
Yes, they do seems change colors year by year.
( although that might just be what I’ve seen)

They aren’t pocket rockets, you want a 600RR, 12,000Rpm, 110hp, but the same (or less) 45 F/Lbs
The V7 will get me in trouble plenty fast ;)

The Store here has great exhausts, and a tuning kit available for the Standard V7 III
I picked up these, and i Love em !
( pocket video - I really need to get a holder...)

Thanks, dealer wasn’t sure about tubed or tubeless as the 85tt is now tubeless.
It was after trying street twin the guzzi felt a little flatter but triumphs peak torque is lower down the Rev range which explains that.
Now I’ve just got to check on service cost / parts!

Yep, service and parts should be similar to that of the V9 Bobber. Same oil filter, air filter, oil and fluids. Good luck with the shopping, and let us know how it goes.

Sarah
