Hello everyone,

I’ve just purchased a 2010 stelvio and I need help choosing the right top case and size. My top priority is pillion comfort, being able to fit a 14” laptop and also aesthetics and the case size not being off. What would be the best size for a stelvio for notmal commute. I’d like to get a black aluminum case. I also need support on whether the top case I pick would need anything else to mount it. I’ve attached pictures of the bike’s tail for reference. Reason why it’s difficult for me to find answers alone is because therr is no shop where I live, and I will be ordering everything online. Thank you for your help!

Best,
Philip

I have the original Givi plastic one that came with it from new , but there are plenty of metal top cases out there that are universal fit and come with a selection of brackets and bases to suit .
The only down side i can see is the stelvio rack does slope forward making it not as comfy for the pillion as a rounder plastic one , the proper base plate for the stelvio metal case has a ramp built in to it to level the case .
but im sure with a universal fit one it wouldn't be to hard to make something , and remember you need to remove the black plastic cover from the rack to fit any base plate .

If you go with Givi, I recommend Monolock rather than Monokey. The difference is the base they lock on to, the Monolock has a flatter base with slots where the tangs of the top box engage, whereas the Monokey is reversed with the tangs as part of the base.

With a Monolock base, other no Givi soft bags can be quickly attached and removed making the set up much more versatile.

There may be other Givi products, I haven't kept up.
