Hi, long-time rider, first time Guzzi owner.

A friend came across a guy wanting to dump a 2004 Breva 750 he bought new, but hadn't ridden since 2015. Only 4200 miles (bought in Canada, but clocks are in miles) on it, been in a garage the whole time. I do a bit of wrenching, so he thought of me.

Well it looked really good. Tires were original (dated 2002) and he said it wouldn't start last time he tried, so I knew it would need some work. I couldn't resist, so brought it home. Actually, tying it down in the truck bed, the cracked-sidewall back tire just straight-up popped.

So it's in the garage, new tires have been fitted, all the fluids changed, and a new battery installed. But no start. Which led me here.

Hopefully with some help I'll be enjoying Italian engine music shortly.

Thanks!
