T3 850 piston pin clips alternatives?

Here it is, each step of the supply chain adds a bit of profit for that organization. The cost to make it, then it goes to a supplier, then it goes to Moto Guzzi, then it goes to the dealer. Each step needs to make a profit or the part won't be there. On top of that there is shipping cost at...

Rita Amplifier and Coil location on 79 Cali T3

Just noticed this one. The coils mount under the tank to a tab on the upper tube. 3 coil bands are needed to mount the coils. Two go on the upper coil with one attaching to the frame, and the second with the bolt holes facing down. The second coil mounts to the loop facing down on the top coil.

    airbox tube....maybe breather?

That is for an oil drain line. Find a length of clear tubing and run it down low. Then put the rubber plug in the end of the tube. You may need to find an additional spring clamp to attache the tube at the airbox. That line is there so that when you see any oil in the clear tube, you can...

    Clutch adjustment

Jeff. Be advised that moving the arm and the back of the gearbox can cause serious issues if not done correctly. That arm needs to be at a specific angle to properly disengage the clutch. I recommend you have your dealer take care of this as the bike is still under warranty. Read through the...

Well done. Time to splice in some wire to repair the loom and to add protective shields.

    Anti seize...

What you say is true, but he isn't saying to put anti seize on every fastener. Some such as spark plugs, stainless screws into cast aluminum/alloy, exhaust nuts, then yes, use anti seize. Experienced mechanics know to use wrench art for these and not a torque wrench.

Heated grips mystery issue in Breva 1100

I would investigate the switch that controls the grips. It is not software driven. The switch is item 15 in the schematic for your bike. If you upgrade your account, you can get a colorized schematic in the downloads...

    Removing Both tires

With a center stand doable with blocks and a jack. Without a center stand, depends on your balancing skills.

What connector is this next to battery?

Be aware that GPS connector has limited current available. Not enough for any heating accessory. Check your schematic and I bet you find connectors for heated grips.

    i got another breva

Nice. Do look into suspension upgrades in the Store. They make a big difference in handling and ride quality. I've upgraded the suspension on my 1100 Breva and can't believe the difference from stock.
