Hmmm may be due to the cylinder heads being offset from one another. If looking from top down one will appear 'ahead' of the other.
Blew my mind when I was told this!
Same story on BMW's also :)
Such a shame some don't want to help others that are willing to learn.
The service manual I have has the following list regarding oils, I hope this may clear up some air. (If they are indeed correct)
My manual also has a guide for removing the engine, if you would like I can link it to you :)
Take 5 minutes extra and warm up the bike, it will thank you later!
I roll my bike out of the garage, start it up, put my jacket/helmet/gloves on and it's always ready to go.
ECU flash tool from Todd is an excellent investment for your bike!
Does anyone know the part number or a source for a new throttle tube, previous owner had cut it down to fit shorter grips, now there is a crack in!

Hey mate!
Only 4200! Not even broken in yet ;)
Sounds like the clutch might have been the thrust bearing, I had mine fail and it does make a very nasty little scream.
Some things I have done to mine recently have been flashing the ECU through Todd here, awesome little device.
Also I just...
Just picked up my bike from having the VR installed.
Had the mount that @Stradagene kindly put up for us fabricated at a local shop, powder coated black also.
Bought the replacement VR from here
Took it down to the motorbike electronic shop and he fitted it for me.
He told me it was spiking at...
Something similar happened very recently to mine right as I picked it up after a service.
It was the thrust bearing at the clutch. Very scary sounding!!!
Luckily I was already at the shop, they took it straight back and fixed it asap. It was a $35 part.
I thought I might add a little review for any not too sure about the ECU flash.
Firstly, postage was super quick, it was here in less then a week and it had to come all the way to AUS.
Installation was very simple. It is easy to see how much effort has gone into this product and it is much...
