dragonknee. You have burnt cables in your head light cabling. I know you have fixed it now and pleased for you.
It is over current. The blue neutral wire insulation melting, is due to one or both of high or low beam over current. High and low high beam wires show damage.
So.....Your previous...
Vilim. I have not herd of any LCD dispay failures. I think you are unlucky with this. Also the stripped cog in the guage motor. Not seen that before. I'm only aware of the corrosion problems from water ingress that causes the led lights to not work and for error codes to appear randomly. I will...
If it is what is on the end of that ribbon cable, I have one you can have. I think I have two actually but would need to check. I was fortunate to buy a brand new dash complete for £125. Mine had similar problems but I now have some spares.

On my Breva 1100, I replaced my oil pressure switch early this year as I had the light come on and dask error 07. I think it is 7 but oil sensor error. Anyway, after several months, last week I got a new dash error for the oil sensor. Only happened at tick over. I reset the errors and happend...
I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Breva 1100 and 1200 dashes are interchangeable?
I have secured a brand new 1200 dash for low money. If it doesnt work I will use its bezel and glass.
I have had my Breva 11 since 2007. I have a sore back at times due to age related degeneration of the discs. I find the upright position very comfortable. Some shorter people have problems with seat height. I just manage with 29in inside leg.
Just has this confirmed by a UK dealer for NOK.
"Yep, the writing faces towards the handlebars on conventional forks and towards the wheel on USD forks."
The cause was overheating. I wrapped a short section of the exhast near the box with fibre glass tape. Not had a problem since. I think I have dot4 fluid. Dot5 or 5plus have higher boiling points so a further option.
Does it matter which way the double seal is placed on a Breva?
Being a double seal it has springs visible both sides. One side has the writing and I guess this up as I have always assumed it sits upward facing. The lower seal in that case, has a wider taper than the top side.
The right throttle body has the sacred screw. This is a stop that sets the butterfly. This is uneffected by the rod.
The left body is joined to the right by the rod. In my opinion you just need to do the usual throttle sync and tps reset done at each service. I don't remember there being much...
If we are talking about the B11,
I think the headlight is powered via the fuse on the yellow wire (switches to fuse).
The wire to the generator is a ground.
