Definitely not the vacuum line all my hoses are as they should be, The more I think of some odd issues that were happening before I took it apart the more I think Scott was right. Preexisting. After doing some more fiddling I almost certain the fuel pump is on its way out as it is whining...
2 lines under tank 1 goes to canister the other goes to back of intake I'm assuming one is for fuel overflow and other is for expansion. This hose is a mystery to me.
It was idling fine with old regulator that wasn't working correctly, could a bad connection when I installed new one possibly...
I have put about 1200 miles on it and charging light came on, found regulator went bad and that was when I apparently created the problem. It has external fuel pump, guess I will pull hose and make sure petcock isn't partially clogged next. Sure seems like a vacuum issue listening to it.
Haven't posted in a while.
I recently obtained a V11 Lemans. Pulled the tank for easier access to the voltage regulator that was fried. I thought it was a good idea while apart to replace fuel filter and air filter and adjust valves. Put it back together and it is now charging fine but my...
The reflash will do the trick, most people that get the PC also get the auto tune module. The reflash will get you in the ball park but the PC with autotune will get your AF exactly where you set it. Just depends on how much you want spend. The PC without the autotune module is useless IMO.
Have the same bike, probably need to do a valve adjustment. No special tools needed for that. It is also recommended to replace the fuel filter because it is part plastic and has failed on some bikes. The fuel line connection is a pain when you remove the tank. In 25K I have done fluids, rear...
The best info I could find indicate that the Knight Design lowering pegs hit the kickstand and are a no go. MI has adjustable pegs but are a crazy high price. Do the Buell pegs work, I have read yes and no? There are nice Buell adjustable pegs on Ebay for $50.
Other alternatives out there...
I have the single sensor auto tune on the same engine I am past satisfied. Pulls like a train from 2k up. Plugs are perfect tan and engine runs cool. Of course, you already know this.
