Yes do it! And get the SAS block off kit as well. I've completed both the Cat removal, SAS block off and added the 2 n 1 brushed exhaust. The block fires up each and every time. No change in gas mileage. Pulls solid thru gears. And with the shorter 2 n 1 exhaust it's a wee bit louder. The HD...
Finally got around to replacing the V7III Fuel Filter. Glad that video was there. Along with the good advice in the above replies. It's a little stubborn getting out of the tank. A little patience and a little extra pressure and it slides out. The original filter certainly looks like it was gong...
The EVAP can sits between the frame rails, on my '17 V7III, behind the mount point of the side stand. Looks like skinny Red Bull can. I pulled mine over a year ago. No others mods were needed. And no error codes either.
I made the mistake of putting cheap gas in the tank. It was a nerve racking tank--I had less than 1500 miles on the bike. Light came on after 50 or so miles. I was still 100 plus from home. Light the whole time. Stopped at Shell station put the premium 93 in, and within 5 miles the light went...
Flip the four rubbers under the seat. I forget which way they need to be for lowest/highest level seat, tilted forward or backward. I believe it's about an inch difference.
On my '14 Stelvio there is a plunger type switch that touches the brake lever. I can wiggle it and get the light to stay on. Everyone has told me replace the small microswitch that has the spade connectors, that appears to be a separate part? Maybe yours has a similar part/switch?
I can only laugh at myself. Went full on high IQ dumb. Thank you very much for the help. Have to send you a message when the tentative trip next spring to Niagra and Mt. Washington becomes official. Buy you a beer or two.
I've disconnected at the plug. At this point the mirror/turn is trash, including it's wire? The plug wire looks short, I didn't trace the wire for length. Do I need to move the plug wire so that it can reach the new Euro turn? I'm under the impression that I need the wire from the mirror/turn...
I have a '14 Stelvio NTX. Thought swapping the turns to the Euro version would be simple. Not so much. Supposedly the '14 is plug and play per other sites, but here it's not. Comment #13. Plug and play sounds great, but how do I get the connector out of the US turn signal/mirror housing? And...
Yes, the VIN is correct as you stated.
Agree the Euro turns are needed. Nice 300 miles today....those decel pops are annoying. That's gotta be a fuel map fix.
VIN#ZGULZU014EM1127753 - Roose Cincinnati - D.O.P 8.3.19
Bit the bullet and joined the N+1 gang. Picked up this '14 Stelvio NTX. Second owner to my knowledge. Thought a pic with a hand made castle was fitting. What are the top 3 mods, most are needing? The Euro Turns are a must, those orange...
Good deal. I hadn't read all the posts. You'll surprise some 600cc and lower sport bikes with that mod. You'll be able to rip thru some twisties and keep up. They'll still run away on a dead straight though.
Double check to see if the map is active/loaded. Should have an aesterik next to the fuel map that is loaded. Mine starts with a rush and immediately settles down to a nice idle.
Live and learn. Glad you figured it out. You'll need a fuel map when replacing the pipes. That's my 2>1 brushed finish exhaust in the store for the V7III. The sound is amazing. Even the HD guys love it. Great looks, welds, and sound. Has an old school GP sound.
