From a full stop and when starting off, when letting the clutch leaver out, it does not engage/grab until the leaver is almost all the way out, It almost feels like the clutch is not engaging some times. Difficult to get off the line smoothly. Is there an adjustment? Could it be air in the...
2016 Audace
Avon lists 3 front tires
130-70-18 RD 69H
130-70-18 63H
130-70-18 63V
I assume the V is the highest speed rating and the one to get. Not really sure. Any help appreciated.
Anyone put on the OE heated grips kit. Got the left grip on and discovered the spacers and longer bolts for the bar end weights do not fit the handle bar. Called AF1 and they looked it up and said the set is no longer listed as compatable. They advised me not to finish the install. They...
Re 2016 Audace and OE heated grips.
I noticed the left grip has 2 screws at 180 deg. apparat. Its not clear to me, if there are suppose to be holes in the handlebar to line up with. Or do they just screw down and pinch the bar. I haven't pulled off the stock grip yet, but by pulling it back I...
If I do new mufflers and also need to replace the 2 header to head gaskets.
Can I pull both mufflers off and then remove the 4 header nuts and pull the front header assembly forward enough to slip in the new gaskets.
Looks like there are 3 possible contact points. 1) crossover to frame /...
Hi thanks
So I just need to replace the left gasket. Does the H pipe have to come apart? Can I just pull the header pipe off at the mid pipe. What will need to come apart.
So whays the easiest way. If I remove the 2 muffler brackets at the rear can I pull the entire exaust far enough forward to replace the gadkets. Does the exhaust have to come appart. Any input appreciated.
Valves are set now and in spec. Still have the tick from the left side. I have gone over every bolt and clamp on the exhaust. Very frustrating. Perhaps a small leak somewhere. Or. Something unrelated to exhaust that is loose.
Hi
Yes I removed the front guard and too much Euro 4 stuff. I will have to get a lift of some sort to get the rear wheel up.
So I realize these bike make a lot of valve noise. On my bike the rt side sound about right. But the lt side has quite noticable clatter. Is this normal. I have no...
Did a little research and it looks like a 24mm socket for the crank bolt. The service manual gives it at 25mm. Anyone know for sure.
Also what type of plug boot plyers to use. Looks like they need to be really small to fit into the openings.
