V7 Stone S owner upgrading to something with a different mission and more power! 100 miles and loving it so far! Saw the Red, White, and Blue in person and had to pull the trigger! It's looking like they're more rare than I...
How do we opt out of recurring contributions to GTM? I just got billed $25 for another year which I did not want to do. I want to keep my account but want to opt out of donations. No options on that I can find.
Thanks for sharing. I was too impatient to wait for dart to maybe come out with something for our Stone S's.. I went with the OEM which was on the pricy side. I do like the smoked screen more than my clear OEM. Let us know what your gauge looks like after you change the speedo mount. I thought...
Got a couple good pics of my V7 Stone S today about 2 hours NW of Houston, Texas. Found some great roads and scenery. Every time I ride the Guzzi I learn something new about the bike and love it even more! Really got to push the bike since I did the the SAS delete kit and wow. What a difference...
I just installed mine today took about an hour and a half. Ended up cutting the SAS pump hoses off the breathers with a razor blade so I had much better access to the Allen screws. I'll say make sure your Allen key or socket is all the way in the screw. They're pretty soft and started to strip...
Yes it is the OEM. I've been waiting on someone to make an dart screen mount for the night pack bikes as well to save some money and couldn't wait any longer. Depending on your timeframe I'd jump on the OEM as one the sites I use said they're already out of production.
Good ride in Texas today on my V7 Stone S and my dad's new Kawasaki W800 . If you have a chance to get a windscreen for the V7 and do any 65mph + riding, get one! First time riding with it today and what a nice difference.
Well to me it looks like they're trying to get in on that cut that the yammie Mt-07, Triumph trident, SV650 have in the market. Naked kinda sporty look that sounds good and is not intimidating to new riders. Bringing something italian to that mix will sell some bikes i think.
Ok, I guess my next question is do these bikes have anything between the filter and intake manifolds that can get gummed up by oiled filters? I've always have had an issues with maf sensors but I don't see any on this bike..
Do these filters require filter oil? Good looking filter and I'm sure it has better flow. I have just always had problems with oiled filters on my stuff..
The Houston dealer network is non-existent... For a city with 6 million people I have to take my bike to AF1 racing in Austin 2.5 hours away. Super annoying and the guys who are the Houston dealer are a total group of schiesters... No idea how they get away with screwing so many people over and...
Is there any GTM update on windscreen mounts for the V7 III night pack? I'm thinking about just sucking it up and getting the OEM MG one even though it's 400 bucks.. Getting a little tired of my body and head getting blown around at 65+mph on my V7 Stone S. I know there was some talk of a...
May not be the right thread but since we're talking Night pack stuff here.. Is there any GTM update on windscreen mounts for the night pack? I'm thinking about just sucking it up and getting the OEM MG one even though it's 400 bucks.. Getting a little tired of my body and head getting blown...
Very Nice! Those valve covers look great on there! I was always wondering about how they looked on mine! I'm #330. What remap did you end up going with? Cheers
Hey there. Looking at this unit for my V7 Stone S. Does this unit also allow us to clear the maintenance wrench light for every oil change, inspection, etc or is it just for engine tuning? Also will it troubleshoot engine codes? Just wanna be sure before i order since my current dealer is 120+...
I'm interested, however my priority right now is a windscreen on my Stone S and 400 bucks for the OEM MG is a bit pricy. Would buy a windscreen adapter first followed by this smaller LED tail which looks great!
Well like Todd said the rubber o ring failed on the bike he did.. Technology hasn't changed much on those and materials have gotten worse to save costs. Or Mario had too much wine at lunch.. Shame it happened but glad it's fixed. Was definitely a lesson in patience. I'm up in the Magnolia area...
Got the bike back today and rode it 150ish miles home to Houston. No leaks! Rear main was the culprit the Service Manager said.. Luckily my clutch was bone dry. He didn't specify what went wrong exactly with the seal but that it just failed.. I hope she'll stay tight for years to come! Can't...
