    GTM Griso Crash Bars

Just installed these on my 2017 Griso. I had purchased a set of the Hepco-Becer crash bars that did not fit and have been languishing in my spare parts storage. The GTM bars: - were very easy to install - fit perfectly - look a lot better on the bike than they do in the pictures Hopefully I...

The Griso will be shod in Pirellis once I have these Metzlers worn out :)

    Back into the Griso fold

I'm a bit tardy on my response as I've been too busy riding :) So after putting 3,000 miles on the 2017 Griso, including a 500 mile day, here's some comments/contrasts: 2006 Griso I bought my 2006 Griso in early 2013, with around 4,500 miles on it. Traded it in January of 2017 after adding...

Considering an Audace or El Dorado

I consistently run 38-42 miles per U.S. gallon on my 2014 California Custom (same drivetrain). I'll let you do the conversion math. Note that mileage in stop and go traffic can be pretty abysmal.

V7 Stone smooth out the ride tips wanted

Some good information here. Riding position is a very personal thing, but I'll add my 2 cents. The V7 is a nice bike, but it is built to a price point, much like the Triumph Bonneville and most entry level Japanese bikes. As such it will need a seat, shocks and probably fork work to make it...

    Back into the Griso fold

It's better that I respond to this in a few weeks, as I just hit break in mileage with the new Griso. Having said that, two initial observations: 1. The riding position is slightly different because the bars have been changed since 2006. 2. It's obvious the power delivery is different. For...

    Back into the Griso fold

My first Moto Guzzi owner experience was this 2006 Griso: It was one of few bikes passing through the pack that I regretted selling, so I have just replaced it with this 2017 model: I follow this forum religiously, but only post or respond occasionally. The new Griso replaced my...

    Griso Goodies

My inspiration is of my riding buddies, Glenn. Retired Marine, 83 years old, just finished a 6, 000 mile ride from Texas, up the west coast and home - on a Vespa GTS300! Was off to some rally in Arkansas on June 3, so I won't see him until after the Fourth of July. I have my fair share of...

    Limp Mode?

Interesting. I regularly ride my Cali Custom when the temperature is in the high 90s with no issues.

    2014 Cali Custom start issues

It's so simple that a caveman could do it. Toughest part is resetting the clock :)

    Actual observed fuel mileage

My 26,000 mile Cali Custom consistently gets 40-42 mpg.

Odometer stopped working - 2004 V11 Cafe Sport

I put a Speedhut GPS speedometer on my 2004 Ballabio. Works just fine. I specified the remote (vs. in the gauge face) control button and mounted it on the handlebar. I mounted the GPS antenna on the underside of the fairing. Some of the other forums have examples of how people set up the...

'17 v7 III stone; handlebar mount wiggle

Jake, The V9s also have the soft mount. When I swapped the bars on my V9 I also noticed what I thought was significant movement. What solved the problem for me was actually tightening down the actual handlebar clamps. Guess that added some structural rigidity that solved my problem.

C Bow mounts with OEM rack

I have the Hepco - Becker rear rack installed with my CBows. Works just fine, but probably not the answer you were looking for.

    Mad Max Audace

Cool! I'd like to see a picture that shows the fender detail at the rear. Any idea as to the weight savings?

OEM Touring Seat after 8000 miles

I didn't have any issues with the stock seat on my Cali Custom. Bought the Corbin primarily for the Mrs. to occasionally join me. I have about 10,000 miles seat time on the Corbin. It's great for a 500 mile day. After that, it's not as comfortable, but that could just be a factor related to...

    Used V7ii or New V9/V7iii

I had a 2015 V7 Classic and now own a V9 Roamer. IMHO the V9 is a better bike that the V7. The V7 II has the same engine as my old V7, so I never considered a V7 II over a V9. That extra little bit of horsepower makes a difference (I have not ridden a V7 III). Both bikes are built to a price...

    California 1400 Reliabilty Opinions?

I now have 22,000 problem free miles on my Cali 1400 Custom. Regarding vibrations and lugging the bike: the Cali 1400 is really happy above 3,000 rpm, but it will run pretty smoothly down to 2,500 rpm. Below that, not so much. Being happy with this bike requires the right mindset. It's a...
