That hiccup was annoying enough when cruising, but I found it concerning in town; seems like it wanted to hiccup just as I was merging onto the square or making a...
Yep, service and parts should be similar to that of the V9 Bobber. Same oil filter, air filter, oil and fluids. Good luck with the shopping, and let us know how it goes.

Thank you, subin. Yep sure enough, it's coming from the shock. My apologies for not investigating this right from the start. I swear, sometimes I am dense as a fence post. Thanks again, subin. The aftermarket shocks on my V7 II look mighty close, we might give them a try.

Nothing spilled when we opened the filler cap, but we let it drain overnight and measured just under 200cc. Calls for 180 I think, so it was overfilled to some extent for sure. I'll refill with 180 cc, clean everything and see how it goes. Thanks again.

2021 V7 Special about 10 days old and with 397 miles, noticed a little puddle of oil on my rear rim and started looking around:
Ideas? Suggestions? Overfilled at the factory, and being pushed out? I haven't touched anything, just snapped the picture. Thanks!

Hi Don,
I only have about 200 miles on the bike, and I like it very much. Yep, those are the factory shocks, and the factory height on the fork tubes, too. Anybody found a parts fiche for the V7 850? I wonder if they changed the fork springs, too. Thanks for the warm welcome.
