A long time since Ive posted
After mister Roper "Rollerized" my Griso We detected a very noisey big end bearing and this dash symptom as discribed. Im in the throes of repairing a shorting grip heater on the left side and will check out the wiring for the dash mode functions while I'm in the...
Good one Ray,
Yea what some regimes will do to stay in power is numbing, went to the northern Romanian Museum of death [Sighet Prison] and one in Budapest [House of Terror] last year and just had to sit quietly for an hour or so afterwards mmmmmmmmmmm and ride quietly for quite a while after
JAS.... these relays are pretty common now ...I just scored 4 or 5 of them from a smashed late model fords' footwell circuit/fuse panel and they are in one under the bonnet as well. I might use a couple to relay my Nouvo Falcone's headlight as they will fit much more easily in the small shell.

Before you get this reassembled check out this link https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/leak-oil-joint-carter.7887/
Get past the first half of page1 and he found it was the gasket behind the bearing housing leaking due to a bolt clearance issue.
I suffered the same and bottom tapped...
Real nice project TryengelI I like #1
I've been holding off on this, but.....I don't see any extra trianglation/bracing of the two rear down tubes to the gearbox, and I've seen plenty of distortion that a well sorted round barrel can do !! I cant to begin to think what a 8V can do to this...
Hey Mackers! the Breva lives on to get a few more, but what is the the last entry for the roo chaser ????
I've only got 40k on the black Griso, somewhere around 350k on the T3 (New speedo) and none clocked on the new girl who is still getting some wiring gremlins sorted.
The pressure is about right but the pic looks like a npt thread (pics are notoriously unreliable)
I think I used a Echlin cattle dog at my local auto supply house which gave thread /pressure/connecter data and remembered that there were hardly any with the correct thread size, mine uses...
There is a switch for VW Caravelle and/or other VW group vehicles that switch above 10psi. It uses the correct thread but a different elect connection. I use this on the T3 and if the Griso ever plays up I'll use it for that also.
They had some red paint? on special? they ran out of blue paint?
Dunno but try typing it into google translate or ring them they speak english
Its not hard to fit so just follow your w/shop manual or wot ever you use. I think there was a recent thread on fitting one.... .have a look back
"even those than have run me out of town on the odd ocassion." Rob !!!!! I hope that was just a just a response for backing the Arbarths against all comers
(sting in the tail)
Must go and change the oil in the Griso ready for the Spaghetti Rally next W/End...
Try this: .guzzitech.com/forums/threads/flippin-a-u-joint.6917/
but I'm sure if you purchased Richo's tombe (Guzziology) with the savings it will have a good cover of you needs . You could do it on the side of the road if necessary
John,
These bosch, fram and purolator (and many other) filters are not generally available here in OZ.
Bib,
Try(widely available reliable OZ brand) Ryco Z418 it is the closest fit in their range.
I'm using a Z68 which is 30mm longer than standard. Easier to get a grip on but potentially a...
huh?? The outer cables are actually loose or not? Have you mistakenly turned out the mixture screw not throttle stop screw, if the idle(mixture) adj is all the way out it has max idle flow through the idle mixture setting on these carbs. You have checked the throttle openings staticly without...
Thanks Tony, could not go as just arrived back Saturday morning from 12 days riding in Romania. The Transfagarasan was better than Stelvio as no busses and hardly any cars and a whole lot less aggression.
Will be at the Spaghetti Rally and the Snowy Ride this year, see u on the road perhaps
