Grounds are a bit of a problem on the Stelvio. In my case the battery leaked onto the starter cover standoff bolt and deteriorated the integrity of the metal and it crumbled. Also, sometimes if you undo the screw to remove the cover so the oil can be added it can loosen the same bolt. Check all...

I can only hope that anyone looking to upgrade the earlier "C kit" engines will not take these statements as a means to bypass proper protocol. Writing higher rpm's out of the equation is not something you would ever want to do as they may become necessary at some point and they are nice to have...
Teo Lamers has all three kits in stock and shipping usually take about two weeks. The price of the labor tends to be more than the parts which is why I did my own and if you are willing to the work yourself I would go this way. No driving to a shop that may or may not do the job right.

I adapted a set of sport wheels to my Cali. Bit of a squeeze to get the bigger back tire in place but there is ample room using the wide swingarm. Gives you a lot better selection of different brands. With the stock rims Perelli Sport Demons were about the only descent choice.

Curious why you went with the trail 2. When my Kineo's eventually show up I had bought the Angel GT to run on my configuration which is similar to yours. I run the trail 2s on my Stelvio and they do bite well when cornering. Is it because of the dual compound and maybe overall life of the tire?
