GTM Secondary Air Supply (SAS) V7-9 Block-off Kit

Since it rained today and I received the GTM SAS Kit, I went ahead and installed it. Super easy, I removed all 3 hoses and left the Secondary Air Valve in the stock location. It fired up smoothly and ran much better, no popping at all and it helped with the stumble around 3k rpm. I pulled the Db...

    V7-850 Evap and Tip Info

Thanks Todd, does the ECU learn at all from such changes as this? ps. My SAS kit arrives today. 😎 I'll post on that page.

    V7-850 Evap and Tip Info

Another question, does the ECU controlled Bosch valve open so the intake can then draw the fumes into the intake from the canister through that line and open valve for reburn? (my line is now plugged going to the intake) and if the top Bosch line is left open will gas vapors from the canister be...

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

    Lift

When doing my valve adjustment I found my lift for my other bikes and thought what the heck... I flipped the lifting mechanism and adjusted it and it worked perfectly. 😎 I hope this helps anyone needing to rotate their rear wheel when adjusting their valves.

    The Ton

After my service this morning she did the Ton + 10. 😎 Super easy to do, oil, check air filter and box (dry) and valves to .006/.008. One question, is there a way to check the transmission and final drive levels and how often are you all changing those fluids? The books says something 30K...

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

Yeah, I knew when it was loose when taking it off.

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

I did .006 int. and .008 exh. this morning and she runs great. Super tight from the factory, I could barely get a .003 in either. Also left side front plug cover bolt was stripped.

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

I've done a few on older bikes. I like to run them between US and Euro spec until I install all of the GTM mapped mods.

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

On GTM's YouTube channel, but it is on a V7III. I think they did the euro spec. When I get the SAS and UpMap... I believe Todd's map is set up for those mods as well as the tip/canister delete.

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

I'm doing the first valve adjustment in the morning, is the euro spec .005 intake and .007 exhaust for a 2023 V7 850 E5 Special the way to go? Thanks.

    V7-850 Evap and Tip Info

Reconnection is why I cut mine where I did and left the canister. I didn't that to the tank valve, I just gutted it. 😎

    V7-850 Evap and Tip Info

Line plugged from the intake, line left open above the purge valve and tucked away. 😎 Is there any issues with leaving an open line to a controlled device?

    V7-850 Evap and Tip Info

If you mean the intake hose (pictured) to the top of the Bosch purge valve.. no, not yet; going to get an M8 today. Ps I'm leaving the canister and hoses attached as my R nineT had a similar system that dripped when it was hot.

    V7-850 Mods Thread

Thanks Todd but I think my money will be better spent on your performance and or some suspension parts. 😎 I have ordered your SAS mod kit, will do the canister delete and order your Upmap. Does your map come loaded in the Upmap?. What mods did you use when developing the map? SAS, canister...
