GTM E4 V85TT Exhaust NOW WITH DYNO RUN

Hi Mike, i have a feeling we need to have the tested db printed onto the muffler to be legal. And again "technically speaking" its illegal to mod the exhaust so it is louder than factory. Depends on the cop who pulls you over i suppose. I know the Agostini cans on my v7 are louder especially...

    Larger Grips?

    V85TT Suspension Thread

Can i ask if anyone knows of any failures with the shock mounts or anything else for that matter. I thinking about trading in my V7 and building up a V85tt for 2 up dirt road touring around Australia and also shipping it OS if things ever get back to normal. Cant bring myself to buy the usual...

    V7III touring/knobby/ scrambler tires?!

Im pretty happy with the Pirelli MT60's. Same as the Ducati Scrambler and plenty of grip for me on road. Not a bad gravel road tyre although tread could be deeper for the dirt.

    V7 travel motorcycle

My Agostini pipes are much lighter than standard. The LSL bars are also but probably not much else. Id ride mine around the world for sure. Tubeless conti TK 70s , good rear shocks and some padded undies. I use ortleib speed bags and a kreiger 20 tail bag on mine. Works well. The tilted forward...

Oxford heated grips Switched live Stelvio '08

Just a warning on mounting the controller. On my V7 i wanted to hide the controller rather than have it up on the bars as Its an ugly box. I mounted it under the side cover with the buttons on just visible. Worked great for a while but the moisture wicked into the "sealed" cable entry as it was...

    Microfiber cloth on header...

I left a couple of hundred dollars worth of expensive new textile jacket sleeve stuck to one of mine. I just took the bike out and "rode it like i stole it" until it burnt so much that it flaked off. I re-tested this method with some matching pant fabric and sas-tec armor a few months later...

    V85 TT Info

Converting spoke rims to tubeless is very easy and in my experience quite reliable. I used an OUTEX kit but many use the 3m sealing tape or a tube of 3m 5200

Fault Codes and how do i fix??

So check engine light on but bike runs just fine. According to Todds list here .... P0653 - ECU has detected a high voltage condition from the coil or related. P0611-Fuel Injector Control Module Performance -- **This lives continuously on the Guzzi MIU ECU. Check to see if you have an...

V7 III - Alternative Engine Oil

Remember that a Guzzi does not have a wet plate clutch so you don't need a bike specific oil. Oil threads will naturally get a million different opinions. Personally im using Castrol Edge 10-60 car oil as my local shop sells it and i know if im away somewhere and in need of oil then any country...

    V7 handlebar swap tutorial?

You need the 2 holes for the switch gear locator tabs. Everything should transfer across without a problem. Take chance to fit new grips though. I have Biltwell Kung fu on mine. They are narrower than the originals though and leave a gap on the throttle side.

If you have some good stainless headers then id do it.Both pieces of my Held clothing have burn holes from the headers. I use the DEI titanium wrap on a race car i have to control under hood temps and its quite effective. As others have said though if wrapping standard mild steel or chrome you...

Dave are you on a Racer? Just wondering about your screen being so effective. This guy is on a Stone so very upright which would make a big difference. That screen does look nice though.

    Helmet Brake Light

Yes correct. Some stickers will eat into the resin and weaken it. So not just any old sticker is safe. Gopro's and other helmet cams also have the same issues. Like anything its all fine until someone gets hurt and starts the blame game. I know out here insurers are not too keen on paying out if...

    Helmet Brake Light

Would that not be considered "modifying the helmet" and therefore void the safety rating?
