    850tt aftermarket screen

Good evening guys, been a while. I'm now the owner of a V85 TT. It's going in for 900 mile service soon, and contemplating the taller OEM screen mostly because it looks good. I had a Caponord that I put a Cal Sci screen on and it was such a big bike it didn't detract from the look and was a...

V7 rear brake pedal rose up

Thanks again Guzzitis! Thanks to your collective expertise I easily found the part number and alas it is $10 or so and has to be special ordered. And then there’s shipping. In the interest of keeping it original I’ll probably spring for it but for now a trip to my excellent hometown hardware...

V7 rear brake pedal rose up

Thanks Sib. I looked at mine, it just rattled out. Right now I have a temporary 'fix' in that I daisy-chained 2 zip ties together to hold it down. It never left the boot thankfully. I'm thinking to engineer a better solution with a lock nut and spacer that in combo with some loctite and a...

V7 rear brake pedal rose up

You Guzzistis are Amazing! Googled the part number, saw the pic went out to the bike and once I knew what I was looking for I couldn't believe it was that simple! Thanks for the tips. I've been off the forum all last year due to Military deployment, but back home now and riding! Thanks again!

V7 rear brake pedal rose up

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere. I searched extensively but no luck. 2015 V7 special with about 7500 miles on it, maintained by my dealer in Austin. Riding to the local brewery last night when noted the rear brake pedal felt out of place. Upon arrival I noted it seemed to be riding higher...

    Rough idle/hard warm start?

    Sounds like a plan! Thanks!

    Rough idle/hard warm start?

Yes, in all 3 cases, esp the last 2. I was on campus at Texas A and M on a hot day and parking on hot asphalt lots in full sun and temps above 40C. Good history taking, maybe you should be a Doctor! So the follow-on question is how to prevent it? Draping your jacket over the bike? A cover...

    Rough idle/hard warm start?

Hi All - I have searched the forum and have not found this problem exactly. Please forgive if I missed it due to poorly formed search terms. My 2015 V7 special has been pretty flawless until this past week. It starts OK cold, but after sitting for 1-2 hours, it is difficult to start...

    Round Mirrors for V7?

Nice I see. Looks like requires Rizoma bar-ends? And would work on V7 Special handlebar? Thanks!

14 v7 racer dieing and smoking

Burmmer to hear that. Sounds like your dealer may have some knowledge gaps, despite their friendliness. In this day and age, everything is computer controlled. if you are willing to climb the learning curve I think will pay off in the end. Any chance of a refund from the dealer? Good Luck!

GTM CNC V7 Givi TankLock Bag Rings

Glad to help Gerry. It's pretty painless, and it's nice to have a little extra storage. I hear you on the Vet bills. No pets here, but 2 kids still on the payroll. In due time. Todd

GTM CNC Givi TankLock Bag Rings

Yep as Todd said. I have my Ram mount on a u-bolt that I put a length of fuel line over to prevent scratching. I did have to move it to make the bag work. I think if you are using the clutch, you will have the phone well to the left of the bag. I just like mine in the middle so it is behind...

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Sounds like a pretty full life Bob! At least your getting on the bike every day even if only 2 miles. Have to say I'm jealous. I only have a 14 mile commute, but it is a straight shot on a congested 2 lane road. Not fun in the heat on any MC, much less an air cooled one. Cheers!

V7 Charging issues / Dead battery -- PLEASE READ

I'd do a thread search to be sure, but I believe in the Store you will fine an aftermarket Rec Reg, as well as OEM. Supposedly the newer OEMs work properly. Other guys have done even more creative solution. Good Luck.

GTM CNC V7 Givi TankLock Bag Rings

OK here's how I attached the GT CNC lock ring - https://gtmotocycles.com/products/gt-v7-givi-tanklock-adapter-ring - to my 2015 V7: 1. Remove the gas cap and place a towel in the filler neck to avoid anything getting in there. Then remove the bolts holding in the cap ring. Note the orientation...
