Need an expertise about an Loop V7 700 (Special?)

Hi there I am thinking of getting my Audace a friend. Saw the following ad today and I will have a look at it tomorrow: https://www.ricardo.ch/de/a/moto-guzzi-v7-special-1158655202/ . The bike was imported into Switzerland 1971 and mechanically restaurated a couple of years ago. It was already...

Has anybody heard if the 1400 series is to be discontinued?

Euro 4 to euro 5 was actually a smaller step than euro 3 to euro 4. And every manufacturer knew it years ahead that this will be the date their motos would have to comply. It was up to guzzi to make it euro5 compliable. They opted not to. It wouldn't have been profitable i think, since the...

    2020 Eldorado

The 1400s could be discounted next year, with the euro5 emissions regulation comin on 01/01/21. Not official, but i'm not sure weather they are able and willing to do the work since the 1400s aren't sellimg well in recent years, worldwide.

Red cylinder head covers for 2014 California 1400 Custom?

The old "accessory" ones were darker and more shiny. New ones (mgx and audace carbon) look better imo.

    Distance to empty

    Audace Handlebar thread

Had the audace, now the audace carbon. The old handlebar felt more aggressive, sportier, but also uncomfortable to me. New one is still more forward than the other 1400s, but feels much better du to the bend. I'm 180 cm.
