GTM does a much better custom than this

autoevolution.com/news/bmw-r-ninet-black-bull-is-one-ominous-piece-of-custom-machinery-156167.html#agal_1 Its like a BMW clone of GTM, but not nearly as good.

    V7 III or T120 black?

My wife has a 2018 V7iii Special and I have a 2018 T120. The Special is more beautiful, handles better, and is generally more fun. It also blew a main seal (at 3000 miles) and was a $3000 repair. My older 2013 V7 has 13000 miles and already needs fork seals and boots, had a rear final drive...

V7 iii main seal failure at 2700 miles. Will Guzzi fix?

Quick update: Moto Guzzi honored the warranty and my dealer (Aprilia Moto Guzzi of Portland) got the repairs done quickly and with no hassles. Happy endings are always nice.

Possible causes of check engine light - 2013 V7

my check engine light has come on three times in the last few days. Bike seems to be running just a little bit rough—a very slight surging when running at a constant speed. If I stop and wait a minute then restart it has twice rushed up to a 3500 rpm idle for about 10 seconds before settling in...

V7 iii main seal failure at 2700 miles. Will Guzzi fix?

The dealer is calling to get repairs authorized, I had just assumed it was out of warranty because I thought it was 12 months and we’ve had the bike for about 18. It sounds like I should be covered and hope I get good news from the dealer shortly. I know no manufacturer is perfect (except maybe...

V7 iii main seal failure at 2700 miles. Will Guzzi fix?

That would be great if the warranty is two years I guess my memory was bad. They did an inspection and confirmed main seal. Estimating 16 labor hours plus parts and I’m in Portland, OR where labor costs are high.

V7 iii main seal failure at 2700 miles. Will Guzzi fix?

my wife’s 2018 V7 has had the main seal fail at 2700 miles, 3 months post-warranty. Shop is going to call Guzzi to see if they will cover the $2000+ repair bill, does anyone know how likely this is to happen? What would be the best escalation route if they turn me down? This bike has been...

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Hi, Todd just seeing your question from a few months ago. I have no clearance issues with these shocks. I saw quite a few V7s in Seattle with this setup, presumably because Moto I was recommending and installing them. Disappointing to hear your experience with Progressive! Michael

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Hi, those shocks came with the bike. It’s from Seattle, home of the now-gone Moto International. The old owner wrote Guzziology and had a popular link to a set of Progressives you could get from Parts Unlimited. They were listed as off-road shocks but for whatever reason they fit the V7s well...

Anyone planning to convert their V7 Racer to std controls?

I don’t feel like I’m in a sport bike stance like I did on my old Ducati ST, and I can see the traffic lights at stops without having to pull my neck back, but it’s way less upright than stock. Mostly I like having my feet back, that was a better change than the lower bars. I think clipons might...

Anyone planning to convert their V7 Racer to std controls?

Here is my ‘13 V7 Stone/Special with added Sato rearsets and LSL speed bars. I am liking the setup, more aggressive but not painful for my 5’10” frame.

Anyone planning to convert their V7 Racer to std controls?

Thanks! I ended up finding a great used set of Sato rearsets and bough the LSL speedbars from Guzzitech. It’s a perfect ridingposition for me, crouched but not eating the bars.

Just installed Hybrid Fork Kit on my ‘13 V7

just installed the V7 hybrid fork kit https://gtmotocycles.com/collections/suspension/products/gt-v7-v7-ii-hybrid-fork-kit On my ‘13 V7. Easy install, just pulled off the bars and payed them over the headlamp, unscrewed the fork caps remembering they were going to pop out if I want ready to...

Road version of Moto Guzzi V85 in development

I would love to see a road-going V85, but I would even MORE love to see a next-gen Griso even if it were to be water-cooled.

    V85 TT Info

Wow. You work in one of my favorite places, but if I lived there I have to say I’d be looking for something water cooled! Or maybe a scooter :)

How my V7 makes me a better rider

i recently purchased an (amazing) Yamaha Tracer 900 GT and that has been my ride of choice for two weeks. Yesterday I went out on my ‘13 V7 and all kinds of bad things started happening. Rapid downshifts leading to RW lockups, pushing the front wheel on turnin, missed shifts and false neutrals...

Anyone planning to convert their V7 Racer to std controls?

before I invest in rearsets and clipons for my 2013 Stone I thought I would check to see if anyone was either contemplating converting their Racer to std bars and foot controls, or had already done so and still had the old parts? I would love to figure out a parts trade or buy your used parts!

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Hey, I see a number of you on this thread have installed the GT Hybrid Fork Kit. I just got mine and am planning the install. I've reviewed the documentation and it left me with some questions about how exactly to go about this. Anyone have any tips or tricks to share? Did you run into any...

Last gen Griso vs new gen Thruxton

to me, the Griso is one of the most beautiful and well laid out motorcycles in terms of power, suspension and brakes. The latest Thruxton, however, seems to be giving it a run for its money. I don’t know if or when a new gen Griso will appear, or if we will be in for another five years of...
