I can easily find M8x25mm. In your opinion, is the 20mm the maximum length or 25 will fit?

How to reduce clutch pull on 2014 California 1400?

I am back. Now considering the RCS 14mm to lower the clutch pull. However 14mm is a larger piston diameter then the stock 12.7mm. My understanding is that the bigger the diameter the higher the effort on the lever. I know that the Brembo RCS has the option to change the lever ratio to...

    California 1400 Reliabilty Opinions?

Hi Robert, I am thinking to install this exact combination (heated grip + puppies) but I am concerned about the potential too large of a diameter with both grip/puppies combined. Can I ask for a favor? Could you please measure the circumference of your grip when you have 5 minutes to spare...

How to reduce clutch pull on 2014 California 1400?

Thank you Todd for this option. I wanted first to try keeping the current hardware with the integrated reservoir. Can the 12.7mm rear master cylinder be rework, is that an option? Or maybe change the clutch actuator located at the end of the line on the engine block? The RCS sure looks nice!

How to reduce clutch pull on 2014 California 1400?

On California 1400, is there a way to reduce the effort required at the lever to activate the clutch, an aftermarket clutch actuator possibly? Thanks Martin

2014 California Touring with 9500 km : ZGULVCOOOEM200146. I am the second owner - bought it on May 11th 2018. I replaced the chrome mirrors with the shorter black ones from Audace and added the OEM Guzzi back rest. I really love this motorcycle! Martin Laval, Quebec, Canada

Really like that screen - but I had discarded it since footnote on part fitment says that it does not fit the 1400 Touring. If this statement is true, does it means that the headlight bracket on Touring does not have the fastener holes as shown in picture?

    Bleeding the brakes

I did not see any reply to this and asking myself the same question: How to get the ABS module into service mode without the dealer software? Can it be done with Diag? Another software?

    Converting Touring to Custom

If anyone is intereted about a paint job estimate, I called a recommended paint shop near me St-Jerome, Quebec, Canada and he quoted me $1200-1300 CDN to paint all 9 Cal Touring parts to black: front & rear fenders, tank, tank covers, side panels and paniers. Now i have to look for a colour...

Concerning the Touring model silver wheel, anyone tried powder coating to black? I was wondering about possible issues concerning curing temperature since I believe the OEM wheels are cast aluminum.

Thank you all for the advice. I will place an offer for the white Touring, price is too good to pass for 5,000km. I will keep it white - especially that the seller went through the trouble of installing 3M protective film on all surface. I will buy the seat and smaller handlebars from the...

    Converting Touring to Custom

I am currently shopping for a 1400 Custom. My plan was to buy new, black colour of course and slowly, with time, buy extra touring accessories (seat with passenger rest, windshield, etc.) to help for weekend excursion with my wife. A deal came up for a used white 1400 Touring 2014, equipped...

Hello Guzzi community, I just joined the forum. I am planning to buy a California Custom in the near future. I want to double check something, maybe someone can confirm this. I want the bike to double as a weekend two-up motorcycle for my wife and I. She will only ride if there is a back...
