    Air cleaner.... Ugggggggggg

Hi I have a 1400 California with 11k miles -- driving it only in summer months in fresh air environment. I have a new air filter from MG Cycle but don't want to deal with it right now so I wonder, how important is it to change that? Can I do it at 15k mi? Thanks for any advice.

    California 1400 Fluid Changes

Hello. I've owned a 2014 California for 2+ years and put 7,000 miles on it & counting. Very special attachment to this Guzzi, just love everything about it. At present it has about 12k mi. I had a local mechanic change oil last year and it's due for another. Would now be the time to change...

    Replacement Keys and immobiliser

I was confused about this as well, when I brought mine home last month. The blue fob is for an alarm system. Mine came with a handbook for the alarm system, you might have it, but it's not very detailed anyway. Turn off your bike, remove key, standing next to it push the top button. If...

How many miles on a tank of fuel? Fuel seeping out of cap

If I fill it up near the top then gas seeps out onto the tank so I never try to top it off. Sometimes I can go just 50 miles and it shows half tank left. I usually get 120 miles and it's showing very little fuel left. I think the electronic fuel gauge isn't so accurate. What is a ballpark...

Eldorado Initial Setup of User Code

I was in a similar situation. Bought a used 2014 California Touring, bothered by the word CODE that appeared every time I put the key in. Bugged me. Read the Owners Manual and followed the procedure to add a unique 5 digit code. Everything worked great. Now the CODE doesn't flash. I called...

    Bypassing the startup Fob

You must be right. I took the remote fob off the key ring, then walked outside and the bike started just fine using only the key. So that means my fob doesn't activate the security alarm. I'll assume the alarm system has been deactivated somehow.

    USER CODE screw-up?

Hello. I just purchased a 2014 California Touring, and the previous owner had never created a five digit personal code. I surmised this because every time I inserted the key the word Code was displayed. I followed the owner's manual procedure to create a new (first) personal code, and...

Fogging Speedo - how bad before going for replacement?

I am a new owner and rode the bike home in a bit of wet weather but not much. The next morning I noticed a foggy speedo (the left 1/3), a foggy headlamp (lower 1/3), and both driving lights were totally fogged. Really annoyed me, but whatever, I washed the bike with not a lot of water, mainly...

    Bypassing the startup Fob

Hello, I just got a 2014 California 1400 Touring. It came with two keys and two fobs, and one key with red plastic on it. After I turn off the bike I see a gently flashing red light indicating its alarmed. However, when I push the key fob buttons (they light up, so battery is good) the bike...
