    Calsci Windshield for new Stelvio

I'm no engineer but from my perspective (6' tall) I'd like a shield for my Stelvio that is just slightly wider and maybe a 1" to 2" recurve added to the height. That way fully up, my helmet would be almost completely out of the wind or rain, yet fully down I'd still have plenty of breeze with...

Journalist write up on the New Stelvio

If I go to the expense of replacing a new shock it'll obviously be with one that is sprung for my weight. For now (around 600 miles) I'm still giving it a chance to break in. The rear shock on my Tenere 700 was horribly stiff, which improved to just stiff after backing off all the compression...

Journalist write up on the New Stelvio

"As for standing riding position off-road, the handlebars might be a little low for someone of my height. Also, the footpegs feel like they are mounted a little high and farther forward than I’d like for dirt work..." I concur. Compared to my V85TT, the Stelvio has 3/4" less distance from seat...

    V100 Mods thread

Oh sorry, but yes Steve I assumed you had "Mandello ones" of some kind. I stumbled upon these: mv-motorrad.de/en/mv-footrest-lowering-rider-moto-guzzi-v100-mandello.htm?c=232 but 40mm drop is way more than I want, 20mm would be ideal for me.

    V100 Mods thread

Do the Mandello ones you mention lower 20-25mm, Steve? I don't see any offered by Guzzi, what brand are they?

    V100 Mods thread

What lowered pegs are these? Is there adjustment in the brake and shift levers to allow for the inch lowered? I'm looking for ones for the Stelvio.

    how to trailer a V100

I'd never use ratchet straps either, but good ones such as Ankra.

    how to trailer a V100

Can you put soft-ties around each fork, above the brace? That's how I secured the front on mine. Also it helps having a chock for the front wheel, to prevent it from turning.

    V100S Pricing

Not that this is related but Guzzi requires that demo bikes be kept in that status until 200 miles, at which time they can be sold.

    Ordering factory luggage

My Stelvio came with three locks.

    V100 H20 Stelvio Chat

I posted it here last week. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/after-the-first-400-miles-a-better-rear-shock-may-be-something-i-look-into.25551/ In addition the shield motor is pretty loud as it moves up and down, it just doesn't sound like it's a high quality motor.. And the shield has...

Top box and side cases options

Personally I am waiting / hoping for Bumot, Tourtech, Givi, etc, come out with top load panniers, hopefully that tuck in well. I like how nicely the factory plastic, side-load, ones integrate. I just wonder how rigid and secure they will be on bumpy, non-paved roads though. Plus if they are the...

    Dirty rear end 😱

I was going to suggest a traditional scooter with their front fairing running down to integrate into a floor, and partial side covering as well as a full rear mud guard might be about as close as I can think of. I will say both my Road King and California 1400 offered good protection for bike...

After the first 400 miles a better rear shock may be something I look into.

OK Todd thanks that could be an option so I'll keep an eye out.

Correct. There's not an S version that I'm aware of at this time.

After the first 400 miles a better rear shock may be something I look into.

Initial thought after 400 miles or so. Generally I just set sag as close as I can and call that it, and that's all I may do on this bike after I give the shock more time to break in. But my initial feeling is I'll want to change it because the ride on rough pavement and dirt/gravel roads is...

    V100 H20 Stelvio Chat

Took mine out on this beautiful afternoon. It was a little cool just hitting 50 and a lot of roads had grit but it was just nice getting out. Did around 60 miles so it's up to 255 now. I'm really enjoying this motorcycle; riding position is good as is the wind management. The seat is good for a...

The press is always so critical...

For reference notice the front fender which includes the extension as it came from the factory. That stylist must have retired.

The press is always so critical...

LOL I went through that phase myself. I was 10 years old and removed the fenders on my 20" bicycle to look cool. And I did look cool until I had to ride home in rain hardly being able to see from the spray in my face. Then my mother laughing at the "skunk stripe" up the back of my shirt! The...
