    Angeles Crest

To clarify for anyone who might be wondering Newcombs is now closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays and open the rest of the week. I was up there yesterday and the road was pretty much clear no problems.

    Angeles Crest

Sure am glad I decided to ask rather than just head up. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Appreciate you sharing info. Sounds like bike damage is minimal, your damage a bit more but nothing a little time won't cure.

Guy Webster - End of an era

Kind of wonderful that despite all the incredibly rare and beautiful exotica that he has owned, his chosen number one that he could not bear to part with was a Guzzi LM I. That has always been my first choice among all Guzzis.

Guzzi Tech service in Orange, CA

Just wondering about the actual address/physical location, in case anyone might want to use it-or just to drop in and look it over if in the area.

    Norge Seat -what will fit?

I agree the stock seat is less than ideal, however I found the so called lower seat, which is a gel seat, is not noticeably lower but for me was way more comfortable. In fact, all day comfortable. I am short of inseam & arm length anyway so the bump in the Guzzi seats really does not limit me...

    Wish me luck

Hope you can get a belt (not saying you can't, just that some things on that motor have become unobtanium.) Also hope the stock chip has already been changed out. Do you know?

Went to Newcomb's and Guzzi Rally broke out

Well, sort of. Was up there last Monday. By the end of the day there were 8 bikes up there, 3 of which were Guzzis, all of which had come up independently. V7 belonging to a young guy who had bought it a while ago as a first bike & was riding it plenty, Bassa belonging to a middle aged guy who...

    Early Norge oil pump FAILURE

Yes, that sounds like failure is in process, and your vin number is very close to the known grouping of the vast majority of failures, almost all VIN ending 112208-112305.

Guzzis in Death Valley 2014, 10/31-11/2

Our annual (more or less) not a rally type event in Death Valley National Park. As of this writing there are both cabins and standard motel rooms available for both nights at Furnace Creek Ranch. The preference is usually to book the cabins until they run out, then get motel rooms. Motel rooms...

    Ride this Sunday 08/03?

Just saw this today, too late, just came back from a very long (3000 mi plus) ride, had too much to catch up on anyway. We don't ride that regularly, mostly just when someone posts, so please, keep looking, post again maybe a little earlier, you will get some Guzzisti company.

    Guzzi ride on Sun 7/27

Would love to join, but me & my Norge presently in Creston, British Columbia, on something called the International Selkirk loop. Be home eventually.

Indie Guzzi Shops-Fader & MG Classics

I guess then you saw oil pouring out of there, not a slow weep like I have on my Norge, also right side forks. Thing is, I have found Todd unavailable for long periods of time for anything other than small, routine jobs, and this might well be more than that. If you wind up going with Todd, be...

Indie Guzzi Shops-Fader & MG Classics

Mike, have you heard form Todd? If yes great, if not, fact is he is a very busy guy, and depending on what you need done, and assuming you don't want to go to Pro Italia, might well be worth the run down to Sean. Like I said, Sean is often at work on Sundays, when it is a lot easier ride down...

Indie Guzzi Shops-Fader & MG Classics

Was just down at Sean's new shop in Santa Ana for the first time, got a few minor brake and other issues addressed on my Norge. As always, a joy to watch a wrench as meticulous as Sean at work. As good a Guzzi mechanic as I have ever seen, still. Apparantly he is now in the shop a lot of...

    Mike Bacon Crash and Burn

Mike, glad to hear things are coming along, albeit no doubt more slowly than you would like. Hopefully being able to start PT should speed things up some.

    Mike Bacon Crash and Burn

Damn, really sorry to hear about-but at the end of the day sounds like it is mostly just money, surely could have been a lot worse for you. Hope you will be replacing the Stelvio soon as the thumb recovers.
