Hey guys. Thought I'd show you a 5.7 Hemi from a 2023 "last call" challenger with only 1700 miles on it with a pretty decent oil leak. It's getting a new engine replaced but I wanted to show you the big ol' VVT cam phaser on it. With the timing cover installed you'd never guess it was there
Yup they sure do! I work at a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealership as an apprentice/lube tech and have had the opportunity to see them first hand. pretty amazing stuff that goes into them. They use VVT on the 5.7 and 6.4 Hemis. Just from observation, the only difference ive seen between a non VVT...
I work at a Chrysler Dealership and the parts guys are always stressing since customer's are unable to grasp the idea that parts are not available for another 3 months, if that. Hell even some simple things like a dip stick tubes are hard to source
