Yes! Thanks. Also it helped to put it back on the mount, then remove. Thanks again!
Here was my most handy tool for this job:
And my final tip; if you can't get the hose off of the tube on the cylinder head(s), just cut the tube off to make enough room to get at the allen bolts. I removed...
If I'm understanding correctly you seem to be implying that I could get the brackets that mount to the side of the plate (in the tail tidy setup you linked above)for the fender eliminator v2.0 and it'd work with the iRides and grab bar? The tail tidy you linked in the previous post mounts on the...
Gotcha, thanks. Wish there was an option for the turn signal mount brackets to be directly on the sides of the rear plate. I see the challenge because the plate is tilted but the lights (mounting brackets) would have to face horizontally. The iRides are such an elegant solution to ditching the...
I just did the EVAP bypass today. Cut and plugged the top half of the manifold line with a 1/4 x 2 clevis pin, plus clamped with size 4 clamp. The bottom half of that line I trimmed as close to the canister as possible, no plug down there. On the tank line I cut out the valve and placed a 3/4...
Just did first service a bit early (800 miles) and gapped the plugs to 0.9 as per page 220 of my user manual (V7III Special, 2019). I see users above saying .9 is too wide. What gives?
I've put risers on almost every bike and found them to be really comfortable. May I ask your height and what didn't you like about the rise on these bikes?
Edit: btw, great choice on the Milano, awesome set up!
The clutch cable appears to have little to no slack allowing for bar risers. Do you have to lift up the gas tank to get a little slack? How tall of a riser has worked for those that have done it, and what did you do about cabling?
Joined the family yesterday with a new 2019 V7III Special. The MG Ride into Spring rebate ($1500) was too good to pass up. I rode a Triumph T100 and thought it was a fine machine. Then I rode the V7 and fell in love with the lil' bull. Spirit, character, heart. And less expensive is always nice...
Thanks guys. I'm not worried to ride in that weather in the future, was just concerned about the first 75 miles because I hope to keep it for a while so I don't want to damage it off the lot.
I will definitely be looking at the flash tool, probably after I do the first service. Or should I...
Greetings, I'm excited to become a new member of the Moto Guzzi owners club when I pick up my new 2019 V7III Special this Thursday. This will be my first Guzzi but not my first rodeo (I'm 50).
Weather in Elk Grove on Thursday is projected to be 100+ degrees. Should I be concerned about riding...
