Top Case for California 1400 Touring

So.. I've been doing couple of trips with the bags sit on the rack on my bike.. but the wife is not as comfortable as she was in the 2012 GoldWing we had before. I'm then looking for the 65L top box (code CM262801 as the bike is "Nero Gentlemen") but I can't find it anywhere except (maybe) at...

    1400 Top Case Options

thanks @Skip Stauber , appreciated. I tried to mount it in the opposite direction... but the straps in the front are too short to grab the back rack....

    1400 Top Case Options

I went a slightly different road for a "top case" and opted for a sem-rigid bag from Saddlemen (TR300DE is the model number). I still need to do some riding testing of course (weather here in WA is not the best this time of the year) but I'm quite please on the way it looks. .

Corbin seat owners, please reassure me!

Seat arrived... and I 've to say that besides the missing backrest for the passenger.. it's quite nice

Corbin seat owners, please reassure me!

How did you do that? did you have to drive to their factory? Or were you able to do that via phone? The bigger question here is: as the seat is already done and will be delivered to me today, can be retrofitted with the extra backrest?
  9. L

Corbin seat owners, please reassure me!

So.. my Corbin arrives tomorrow .. no backrest for the passenger which is kind of a problem for me as I also have the MG rack and no longer have a way to apply the sissy bar or any other sissy bar without getting rid of the back rack (which I don't want to). Do you guys can think of any...

    Connecting electrical accesories

@kiwi dave, thanks. When you say "you can't use this to wire in a USB port", do you mean in general? Meaning: if I order the BMW connector mentioned in the thread above, can't I connect an USB port there?

    Connecting electrical accesories

super old thread guys.. but I just joined the forum so.. my apology to re-ignite it. Does anybody used that to connect an USB port? and if yes where did you guys put the USB? I'm looking for some pictures to see how the final result of the work is as I'm planning to do something similar and I...

2017 California Touring, Sissybar and Rear Rack

Thanks @Robert Gibson, I really like the Corbin one. The only concern I have here is that if I don't have a sissybar I'm limited with the type of bag I can put on the rack... but getting the HB rack only (no SB) would allow me to get two backrests for both the driver and the passenger....

2017 California Touring, Sissybar and Rear Rack

The 2017 California Touring comes with the OEM sissybar but without a rack. Per my understanding, if I want to add the OEM Guzzi Rack (Code B063992) I will have to remove the sissybar as the connection points are the same plus the passenger handlers are present in both the syssibar and the rack...

Intro and first question: heated grips

@roadventure, right. I was looking specifically for the California. it looks like noone here is using the Heat Demon... which makes me nervous to be a Guinee Pig for that. Oxford are buy and large the most used heated grips... but I don't like the bulky control. I like the Koso a lot.. if...

Intro and first question: heated grips

probably because it was "ride by wire 1st generation"... Guzzi didn't make any heated grip for the 1400 "ride by wire 2nd gen".... which looks dumb but, by reading here, probably it was the right decision as it looks like after market products are waaay better and waaay cheaper

Intro and first question: heated grips

yeah.. thanks @kivi dave.. that would be my next option. But I really like the ability to keep my grips or have a wide choice of grips with no limitations....

Intro and first question: heated grips

Greetings everyone. Luca here from the sunny (and wet) Washington state in US. Born in Italy 45 year ago.. moved in US 12 years ago. Recently exchange a 2012 GoldWing with a brand new 2018 California Touring and.. super happy for the switch. As everyone I'm sure already did, I have some...
