Charcoal Canister Removal - Detailed with Pictures

I have read the guide several times, and printed out the pages. I see the bit where it says you have a choice. But it doesn't explain how to remove the lights without removing the fairing. I'll play it by ear.

Charcoal Canister Removal - Detailed with Pictures

With replacement light cluster finally in my hands, replacement of the lights will commence tomorrow. As mine is an Australian delivery, I don't think I will have the charcoal canister issue. My question: As I am only replacing the light cluster and not removing the canister/fuel cell etc...

    OEM Stelvio NTX Heated Grips

Yes, I know the controls. The throttle grip heater gave up the ghost last ride at 5 degrees C.

    OEM Stelvio NTX Heated Grips

The OEM heater grips are vaguely warm on the hottest setting. My old BMW ones could bake bread. I'm thinking Oxford grips spliced into the original wiring is the best way forward. Afterall, the hottest setting should be almost too hot, allowing you to go down to medium.

    Stelvio headlight repair

It is one of the plastic tangs that holds the insert into the reflector. It is on the left of the photo I have bought a second hand headlight assembly from Germany an hour ago. In any case, when I install I will see if I can JB weld it in place so then ai will have a spare I hopefully will...

    Stelvio headlight repair

Hello chaps from Sydney Australia. 2011 NXT. Today whilst trying to upgrade my headlight to LED insert I broke off one of the metal lugs that secure the collar to the reflector at the rear of the headlamp. Can the reflector be replaced or am I up for the full double headlight assembly? Dave

    B11/Norge Startus Interruptus-the MPH Solution

I hear you. However many owners don't feel comfortable cutting/soldering their looms. As this bridge is only in use during the actual start process, and the existing wiring remains in situ. Anyway, it's a map to follow for those who choose that path. Dave

    B11/Norge Startus Interruptus-the MPH Solution

Wow, someone has their cranky pants on! But no matter, I'll try to help anyway. We Australians are like that. For Stelvio owners (and maybe others), the relay is indeed in a different spot to under the seat. Before you do anything, grab some 14g electrical wire (coloured red is good), fit an...

    B11/Norge Startus Interruptus-the MPH Solution

Thank you for the replies. My query was centred around the possibility that the Stelvio's start relay was in a totally different location (beneath and forward of the tank) as against other models being awesomely located under the seat. I know which one I'd prefer to access.

    B11/Norge Startus Interruptus-the MPH Solution

Does the tank shroud need to come off to do this fix? In other words, is the start relay under the seat or is it near to the headlight?
