    Thx Scott. Will do.

V85TT after market adjustable brake levers?

Yes, I have it on #1. My wife just got a V85TT and it would definitely help her. Pazzo still does not list the V85TT as having levers available. They have just about every Guzzi but not our model. Seems strange with the popularity of the V85.

V7 II ENGINE FAILURES & CLUTCH ADJUST NOTICE!

Jimmy, I apologize for the slow response. Unfortunately my wife has been unable to ride her bike very much due to the failing health of her Mom. The interesting thing is that after changing out the same parts that you did there was only a mild improvement in the issues she was having. The last...

    V85TT Registry and pic thread

I haven't been active on the site but I've ridden almost 22k on my V85. TX, NM, CO, WY, MT, ID, UT, LA, MS and AL. I'm not aware that any of the recalls were done or necessary on my bike. I definitely got a good one. No mechanical issues whatsoever except it over heated in Arches National Park...

V7 II ENGINE FAILURES & CLUTCH ADJUST NOTICE!

Scott, thank you for your thoughtful reply. I realize I've been pretty wound up about this whole issue. The way our situation has played out locally is the primary reason. After bringing in the bike to have the clutch engagement rod, needle roller thrust bearing, and clutch thrust bearing...

V7 II ENGINE FAILURES & CLUTCH ADJUST NOTICE!

Todd, do you have any way for me to contact J Cole on this list? I have asked him a question on this forum but I've had no response. Thank you, John

V7 II ENGINE FAILURES & CLUTCH ADJUST NOTICE!

My wife has a 2016 V7II Special with 10,431 miles on it. The clutch engagement rod, needle roller thrust bearing, and clutch thrust bearing support were just replaced. The bike has always had a hard pull clutch and it's difficult to find neutral once it heats up. Adjusting the cable helped some...

V7 II ENGINE FAILURES & CLUTCH ADJUST NOTICE!

J, I am writing you as it appears that you were given the thumbs up on an engine replacement just last month. My wife and I had a conversation with our dealer yesterday after she had her clutch pushrod and bearing replaced (part numbers 2A000376, GU14086000, GU20085720) on her 2016 V7 II Special...

    V85TT Ride Review

I feel like I just want to say what a great bike this is. I took a trip in June that covered parts of TX, NM, CO, UT, WY, MT and ID. I met a buddy I hadn't seen in 35 years who rode his BMW from Maryland and met me in Moab. From there we rode to Great Falls, MT for the MOA national rally...

    V7II luggage suggestion request

My wife has a 2016 V7II Special. We would like to get her some waterproof soft panniers. We realize we would need to purchase bike specific racks to mount them on. Also if you have a suggestion about a rear rack that a tail pack could be attached we would be interested. Thanks in advance.

Well it would help if I read everything instead of replying immediately. You already provided photos. Thanks again.

    V85TT Registry and pic thread

It works like a charm. I bought a BMW R90/6 in 1976, had a toe/heel shift fabricated and kept it for 19 years. The Guzzi is smoother. BMW riders use to say the bike is not broken in for 5k miles. It wouldn't surprise me that it takes about that amount of miles for many bike's mechanicals to bed...

    V85TT NHTSA RECALL NOTICES

I was not made aware of any recall service. I'll inquire service #2 coming up soon. Coincidentally, I found the circlip on the right footpeg about halfway on the other day. I had an oil leak early on coming from the sump. All bolts were tightened to spec and that cured it. I then had another oil...

    V85TT Registry and pic thread

VIN: ZGUKWU007LM000599 I purchased my bike in August and have about 6k miles on the clock. Only alteration was to remove the cat converter and to have a heel shift fabricated. I lost my left leg below the knee in 1976 and since the U.S. mandated left side shift in 75 I've had to come up with...

V85TT after market adjustable brake levers?

Has anyone found/purchased/installed an aftermarket lever specially for the V85TT? There isn't enough adjustment on the stock brake lever for me to get a couple of fingers over the lever with my gloves on. I would be able to modulate the front brake so much smother if I didn't have do that...
