For all new members, we require ONE post in the Introductions section at the bottom, in order to post in most of the other sections. ALWAYS TRY A SEARCH BEFORE STARTING A NEW TOPIC - Most questions you may have, have likely been already answered. DON'T BE A DRIVE-BY POSTER: As a common courtesy, check back in and reply within 24 hours, or your post will be deleted. • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Click the SERVICE tab above for the best in service, tires, tuning and installation of our products or custom work, and don't miss our GT MotoCycles® (not) art on the BUILDS tab above. WE'RE HERE ONLINE ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS MADE OR RECEIVED - DO NOT EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK TO CALL YOU.
  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. We really appreciate every $ and your support to keep this site ad-free. Create an account, sign in, upgrade your account, and enjoy. See you on the road in 2024.

Rizoma Iride Front Turn Signals on a V9

I feel like a nimrod. Turns out one of the harness pins was crossing on the right side, I fixed the harness and everything is tied up and fine, sans resistors.

Rizoma Iride Front Turn Signals on a V9

To (not) answer my own question, installation of a 3W Rizoma resistor inline didn't solve the problem -- the resistor itself gets SCORCHING hot after a couple of seconds of running the blinker, which seems surprising as well.

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

I'm 195, not sure of the actual spring rate but presume @GTM® could share!

    V7 throw out bearing lube/grease?

Is the symptom a loud fan belt like squeal? I’ve started having that at a stop with the clutch lever in, can be stopped by shifting to neutral.

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Received my Matris shocks and fork kit from Todd today, got the shocks installed and WOW what an alteration to the bike… so much more planted, just night and day difference from the stock Olles on my V7 Special. Can’t wait to get the fork done!!

Rizoma Iride Front Turn Signals on a V9

Bumping this old (mostly relevant) thread. I’ve installed 4 wire Rizoma IRIDE signals (brake / running / turn) in the back of my ‘14 V7 Special, and am getting a constantly lit rear right turn signal (with hyper flashing front) while the left side works fine. I connected the right rear signal...

    Fuelling wonkiness ['14 V7 Special]

I adjusted the valves, replaced the plugs and plug caps. The right side was very tight on the exhaust (.14 intake / .15 exhaust) and the plug showed some fouling. Readjusted to .15/.20 on both sides and initial returns are positive... seemed more even/less lumpy in throttle response. Going to...

    Fuelling wonkiness ['14 V7 Special]

Hey all, As I become more and more familiar with my new-to-me '14, I'm trying to suss out things that are "expected behaviors" of the bike vs "this is probably not right." Symptoms: I've noticed bogginess/what feels like misses at very low engine revs, as well as what [felt like] misses in the...

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

I'm the second owner of '14 V7 Special ZGULWUA15EM200069 -- purchased from the original owner who'd set it up for full touring 2 up with hard cases/racks and windshield for riding with his wife, having done Sturgis, Florida, Dragon's Tail all from NY. A little over 22k miles. I removed the...
