    V85TT Oil pan seeping leak

I recently discovered oil seeping from the generator cover and oil pan on my 21 with 8K miles. Torqued up all of the bolts, a number were not close to spec, and cleaned everything. Seems to have stopped. Looks like I lost about 100 ml since the last change about 2K miles ago. I bought a tube...

    My recent acquisition

I picked up a 2007 California Vintage last week. Some scratches on the bags but cosmetically and mechanically seems solid even after 54K miles. I purchased the bike from Dick Golladay who is a bit of a legend in the Virginia Moto Guzzi community but has had to hang up his spurs. I told him...

    V7 III - Timing Cover

I have seen mention of removing the bracket the ABS controller sits on. This looks like frustration city but may try that before dropping the engine.

    V7 III - Timing Cover

The reason I want to remove the cover is to replace the gasket. I have an oil leak from the lower corner (when its on the side stand). I can get all the bolts off just cant get the cover off. Does not seem to be enough clearance up top to do anything but pivot up about 30 degrees.

    V7 III - Timing Cover

V700Steve, do you mean the four screws (two on either side of the fame) that attach the front of the cradle to the frame or the bolt that attaches the engine to the cradle? Do I need to remove the exhaust to get the cross pipe out of the way? Thanks!

    V7 III - Timing Cover

I may need to remove the timing cover on my v7 iii special for some maintenance. I can remove the bolts, etc. but cannot get it off due to part of the frame. does anyone know the easiest method for exposing the cover completely? If I put a block/jack under the sump and remove the cradle bolts...
