    Jacket recommendations?

Buy the best you can for the slide not for the ride. Chaps don't protect what you will probably land on although they look good on the ladies in hot weather.

Sheep skin fur and bike shorts

I use a sheep skin on the Stelvio and wear LDcomfort shorts under whatever gear I am using. It's OK for a couple hours but then butt disease set in. Next month I take it to Russell for a custom seat. It will be number 13 for me from them.

    Cutting new keys?

There is also a shop in Canby Or. " SOS diagnostics" that will do the job via mail and they can do the programming.

    Cutting new keys?

My local shop. " Bend Lock and Safe" cut the expensive keys for me just fine. $40 for the first one and and $20 for the others. If you have the right code you can copy them right on the bike for free.

    Cutting new keys?

Just south of Bend in Lapine. Before that 30 years on San Juan Island in Wa. If you run into problems shoot me a message and I'll help walk you through it

    Cutting new keys?

I've just gone through the key cluster #%&@. Most good lock shops can cut the keys but not all of them can do the programming. If the keys are factory Guzzi keys and you have the user code it can be done on the bike. I was not given the code when I bought my bike and the key shop couldn't copy...

    Pegs for fat feet

Yes sir. Been there done that.

    Pegs for fat feet

After riding with the new pegs for a bit the only down side I find is it's harder to get the side stand down with the wider pegs. I think I'll weld a small extension to the stand to make it easier to get your toe on it. Other than that they are a good upgrade for those with big feet.

    Pegs for fat feet

Pivot Pegz installed. Almost to pretty to install and get dirty. If you swap the mounts they can be lowered but only 7mm. I'm going to leave them as is for now. The extra size is great.

How-To, check swingarm and linkage bearings on NTX

Just did the swing arm service on the Stelvio. With the help of this post it was easy. Thanks

    Pegs for fat feet

Could very well be what I am looking for. Not cheap but good quality seldom is. I'm leaving for 10 days on my wing because it has a Russell seat and will order these when I return. Thanks for the info.

    Pegs for fat feet

I contacted the folks at sw-motech and they don't know if their product will fit other years and they said to contact an expert.:D I guess I'll look around some more and if nothing else, I have a lathe and a mill along with a good tig machine so I can make something. I was hoping for an easy...

    Pegs for fat feet

I've tried the search and either I'm not using the right wording or it isn't there. I want larger foot pegs both longer and wider. I wouldn't mind a bit lower also. Internet research doesn't seem to produce an acceptable answer . I can add to the stock ones but would prefer to keep them...

    Wall of moronic shame...

One of the best lessons I learned early on was how to fire the customer. Some people just can't be made happy and it's not worth the ulcer factor to try. The feed back from your good customers far outweighs the asshats. Wish you all the best on your healing. I go in Wed. for full length MRI to...

    Benefits of Proper Battery Maintenance

While on the subject of electrons, What should the charging voltage be on my 2015 stelvio. My cheap usb adaptor in the dash is telling me 13.8-9 going down the road. I haven't hooked up my good Fluke to the batt to get an accurate number On other bikes I'm used to seeing it a bit higher.

    Benefits of Proper Battery Maintenance

I agree completely. I think I have 8 tenders and a couple standard including an old service station unit that you could probably weld with. All my stuff lives on a tender when not in use. In the winter it's tenders and block heaters for the outside engines.

    Loose hose under tank

I don't know if it's real or my imagination but the engine seems happier with the canister removed. I got in about 200 miles today before it got to warm for my liking.
