Hi do any of you out there know the dimensions of the drive shaft U/J cross.
before I rip apart my wife's breva as I think the U/J is on it's way out.
No way am I going to part with £200 odd quid for a new shaft assembly !!
Cheers
Cliffy
Sold my last B11 in 2010 and well what goes around comes around ! Just got hold of another one ! Well chuffed so far with this 07 in Red Genuine 9000 miles on the clock
Hmm I dont really see the need for a sump spacer .
My V7 Classic has done 20 odd thousand miles since 2010 some of them hard revved
Cruised at 80mph two up on the autostrada's of Italy , motorways of England & France in temps ranging from -2 to +35 degrees C and never missed a beat ...
I think a 800cc hemi head injected air cooled engine would be an advancement
Picture this ... 800 Monza , 4 or maybe 5 valve radial head , carc shaft and a seat that is actually comfortable !!
My V7 classic seat is pants on the comfort side !! B)
Keep the rocker cover design in keeping...
:D Nice one I'm sure you wont be disappointed !
Great bikes the V7 not too much power infact spot on for novice or seasoned rider !!
I down sided from a Breva 1100 in 2010 to my V7 and haven't looked back after 18,000 miles ;)
Enjoy the ride :D
Hi all
Just been thru a real pain in the ass scenario !
Ordered a pair of replacement rear shock springs for a 750 Breva from Hyperpro via an ebay shop
Now the shop was no problem but the springs were ! They turned out to be 5mm narrower than the stock ones so would not fit !
the fun started...
Hi mate,
Having done some touring on my V7c I can confidently say they are great on the freeway not too fast as to get nicked for being a hooligan but just right ;)
Mine will cruise all day at 80mph although the revs are not that far from the red line it is where they are most happy at and...
8-) That's the main reason I ended up living here !
Now come on Guzzisti get over here even if its just for the TT or maybe the Manx Grand Prix/Classic TT in Aug / Sept both definately worth putting on your bucket list
Hi,
Thanks for the info
From what I can tell by your description you have undone the Centre large bolt on the top yolk which is CORRECT.
The two other large caps on top of the fork legs should NOT be removed for the yolk diss-assembly as they are the fork leg caps under spring pressure, If you...
:P Enjoy the ride mate 8-)
But dont get sucked too into the tech issues that some people go on about, bottom line is it's a new bike and with a well proven motor, just keep her serviced and enjoy B)
