    Engine guard vibration GIVI

    The Givi engine guards do an excellent job of protecting the bike. I stalled mine and pitched over the the right (I have MS), the only damage was a slightly bent rear brake lever. I installed some folding toe pegs and hopefully the next time this happens there will be no damage.

    I'm running the 100/90 but the gap has always been large, I've only seen a few bikes like this. the second pic shows the cut down fork brace, lowered it maybe 1/2”.

    Why do some V7iii's have a front fender that is way above the tire like this bike? Mine was like that so I cut the fork brace down as much as possible but it could still be closer. Most V7's that I have seen have better fitting fenders.

    I've been running the Givi and am quite happy with it, decent protection/noise compromise and fits the bike well. I have a little green flyscreen that I would part with, uses stock mounts and comes with a shortened stock screen.

    They are really pretty but if you ride with others they will have to wait for you to catch up. My buddy just sold his and bought a RE 650 so he can keep up with the rest of us old farts.

    I'd like to put in a good word for the GTM folding toe pegs, their larger diameter makes shifting much more comfortable and as a special needs cat, the eccentric peg allows me to access the rear brake without drama. Good stuff.
