Enquiry what's the latest re exhaust modifications and muffler changes, does the Zard can fit 2021 V85?, are there other options?
MIVV, Arrows or is the only worthwhile option Todds.
Also has anyone tried removing the air filter box and replace with a cone filter.

Tuono
Can anybody see any disadvantage in relocating the alternator to the nose the engine on a Cali 1400 8V.
It would mean a front timing chest swap

Visually the pipes look great but I'm interested as to how much heat increase on the pillion pegs.
Also any noticeable increase in exhaust fumes for rider and/or pillion.

Contacted the importer yesterday afternoon, replied within the hour
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your email.
All California 1400 models require this technical update.
Please contact your local dealer to organise time that suitable to have this modification completed.
Kind Regards,

re the LED versions, will they require driver units to counter the CAN-BUS requirements? or are they load rated to achieve the same result?
Regards
Tuono
Thanks for the heads up, the heat issue was one of my concerns. If the HID ballast fits under the cover, the LED drivers hopefully won't be an issue.

I would agree with your comments re the LED technology if the system was not CAN-BUS compatible but as it is CAN-BUS compatible, LED driver units are required.
These units are approximately the same size of a slim line HID ballast.
