    Griso Handlebar Risers again...

Hi Kmac33, the rhizome conical bars sound the works. I can't find which ones. Do you perhaps have a reference number? It seems HT Moto have moved on,so rear sets might be a further search. You wouldn't want to sell the old ones you had? Cheers Ross

    011 Racer fork upgrades?

Hi, I also went to Terry Hayes to get my new Griso 1200 SE suspension set-up/dialled-in after 3000 K's to loosen things. The handling was truly transformed. This was a $95.00 adjustment. Later I'll be back for further work once I have settled into the bike and it's current set-up. rossco

Terigoni pipe- to anodise /powdercoat or what?

I've just had the Factory approved termigoni pipe for my Griso Black Devil arrive. I want to have it black, or at least dark gray. Has anyone experience with either process? I don't want it shiny, either matt or satin. Is it aluminium outer skin? So good to be back on a Guzzi! Rossco in...

Hi all again, I appreciate the opportunity to discuss these issues before I get my new bike next week or so (long sea voyage to Australia!). Can anyone advise me as to what the Guzzi Griso 8V 1200 cc DELIVERY engine oil is and also what the recommended oil is post run-in? Ditto what the...

    running in a new engine

Hi all, thanks for your kind comments and replies. I must say that I do appreciate some of Motoman's philosophy but actually find the article forwarded by Walter to be perhaps the best approach. What I'd like to ask the author of the wear in article is whether to stick with mineral based oil...

    running in a new engine

Hi about to get a griso 8V black devil. Have read pro and contra about running in. Everything from motoman saying bed pistons in bores early (and I'm sort of convinced on paper) through to no don't ruin the engine. I've just joined the site today and perhaps I'm not searching the forum...
