    2013 V7 Time for rebuild

My 2010 has 23k on it, never did anything more than valves and fluids. From what I read, 60k should be had fairly easy, original clutch, etc. If you adjust your valves, the top end shouldn't need rebuilt. Oil intervals are 4500, per the manual, spark plugs too.

    Hello from Southern California

@Louisv97 BBK:inlove: I'll keep an eye out for you both. Look for me, I ride a Lengano green V7 Café Classic and a Vintage Rosso V11 Sport.

    Hello from Southern California

Welcome @Stirling, we're neighbors! I'm in Mission Viejo, spend a lot of time riding through the canyon, and over it too (KLX250). I just sold my CTX1300, replaced it with a V11 Sport. I just had to try out that big V4, drove it down from Napa. The V11 is much more to my liking. I've been...

Greetings from new member Oakland CA

I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, but lived in NorCal for many years, Sacramento, Travis AFB, San Jose (SJSU), but after meeting my Huntington Beach wife, moved to SoCal. I still prefer NorCal though!

    Setting SAG

Thanks for the video, Todd. I actually watched this a few times in the past. The mystery for me was the starting point measurement, it was such a variable. I've now learned what I was missing, predetermined shock travel, for my V11, it's 128mm. Now I understand how to pick my target, and your...

    Setting SAG

2003 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport rear shock travel – 128mm, 30% is ideal, thus 38mm drop when loaded (About 30 Percent Give Or Take: The first thing you need to know is how much shock suspension travel your bike has (you can often get suspension travel specs from the manufacturer’s website). Then you...

    Setting SAG

Having recently acquired a 2003 V11, I now need to set SAG. I've set SAG on a few bikes, however not frequently enough to be familiar. There's plenty of How To videos, my question is more general. Is setting the rear SAG merely dividing the difference between at-rest and loaded? If so, wouldn't...

2015 V7 II clutch upgrade from V7 III?

I noticed the same when comparing newer V7s to my 2010. Thanks for the explanation Vagrant.

Greetings from new member Oakland CA

Welcome Tony. I see you're in Oakland, Supercross is cancelled this weekend there due to rain. I watch all SX, MX, and MotoGP races; no stick and ball sports for me. Fiat's as well, fantastic. Many years ago, while living in Sacramento, I drove a 5 speed, 131S. It was highly worked over, motor...

    Ring-a-ding-dings

I ride a dual sport KLX250. This bike is so capable for my needs, I've kept it far longer than I had imagined, bought it new 2014. However, the day they introduce a two stroke dual sport, the trade-in will occur! It will portably never happen in my state though, California. Two strokes are so...

    Control arm bushes?

I recently read a how-to using affordable bushings from energysuspensionparts With that said, I once converted a sports car to all poly and hated it, far too harsh. I prefer rubber. I imagine sourcing rubber bushing and fabricating them to fit is also possible. Yeah, I like to tinker. Also...

    V100 pillion footrest equivalent

@chris watts your link is essential what I purchased. As for measurements, I'd say they are 2mm too wide for front peg location, easily shaved on each side, and hidden by bracket once secured. Strangly, they fit the rear peg location without any side shaving requirements.

    V100 pillion footrest equivalent

I just purchased these for stock pillion peg replacement. They do need shaved about 2mm to fit. Check out AliExpress, they have so many choices. aliexpress.us/item/3256801516792348.html

    Little funnel

Yup, child's ear suction-ball, various syringes (wife is an RN) and small funnels; all secretly lifted from throughout our home. Shhh. @VictorScot I see you're from Borrego, such a lovely location. I really enjoy that area, and have spent numerous trips there on my dual sport.

    03 Lemans forks (Marzocchi 43mm)

I found this adjustment made a difference for me. It turns out Todd prefers the same, as he noted on another thread. I raised the forks, 15 mm through the trees, quicker, more appropriate turning is the result.
