    Anyone with factory panniers?

With the no transponder key would someone be able to turn the ignition switch to unlock the steering so the the bike could be pushed away?

    V100 H20 Stelvio Chat

Well, AF1 finally got the new Stelvio in for their demo bike. I was in Austin today and went by to check it out. It was raining today so I wasn't able to take it for a spin. I did sit on it and, even with my shrinking height due to being 67, I could reach the ground better than I can on my 2012...

    Fuel leak and other observations

Hey RedMandello, who did you do delivery with? I've spent almost half the year outside Portland with my 2012 Stelvio since 2013. I used the Guzzi dealer at Sandy Blvd & 105th until it shutdown during covid. If I'm not too short I'll be looking to end up on a V100 Stelvio. I'd rather buy it up...

    Clutch Chatter

Well I ended up having a great 2400 mile ride. I timed it well and got to Oregon the day before it snowed along IH 5. My last morning was 31 degrees with fog when I left Grant's Pass, Oregon. The transmission is smooth shifting again.

Paint bubbles on blue Stelvio fuel tank

I guess I used the wrong wording when I did my search before posting thanks for sending me to the appropriate thread. I just read the thread and I have had heat related swelling of the tank too due to being in Texas. My original tank was replaced due to cracking along the bottom that was noticed...

Paint bubbles on blue Stelvio fuel tank

I replaced the original painted bits on my 2012 with blue ones when the Stevio first had that color option. A few years ago three bubbles began growing on the tank. One on each side under the Moto Guzzi emblem. One side 3"×4" progressing toward the front of the tank, the other side has a 7 1/2"...

    Clutch Chatter

I started riding in 1974 in Virginia way before goretex was invented. I never had a car until 2015 when I bought one for my partner to use in Oregon. I think my mornings will probably start out with temperatures in the upper 20's for at least half my days. The wind screen is horrible for summers...

    Clutch Chatter

Well, a week ago yesterday, the stars aligned and I got the Stelvio back from getting the clutch replaced. Thanks go to Todd for getting me the back ordered thrust needle bearing. AF1 also discovered the clutch lever was cracked and broken and gave me a break on the almost $200 price. Next...

Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

I finally found my bill of sale for my 2012 Stelvio. The Vin is ZGULZU012CM112084 I bought it from AF1- Racing in Austin on July 21, 2012. I threw the blue bodywork on the year that came as a color choice. The original color was Burnt Orange.

Anyone Tried These LED Turn Signal Mirrors?

I had 4 sets of mirrors break during my warranty on my 2012 Stelvio. I installed the sport mirrors and the euro front signals and put Whelen 4 lamp amber bars on my hand guards and had them wired to the signal circuit so they blink with the turn signals.

Thanks for the warning. I might be better off getting one of my old Buells running and take that up there and keep the Stelvio in Texas.

I noticed that you are in Olympia. I spend half of every year just outside of Portland, Oregon. Before covid when I had issues there was a MG dealer in Portland. Now they are gone. Do you think the Washington dealerships are going to be a good option for service? It will just be a pain to...

    Clutch Chatter

I understand. I did contact the service manager at AF1 yesterday about the other bearings and he said they are easily available and we can wait and see how they look. Now he said that they wouldn't have the needle bearing until next month so I'm hoping that Todd can obtain the one that he...

    Clutch Chatter

Yes it's a 2012. From the clutch diagram it looks like the shop didn't have me buy 5,6,7,8,9 and 10. On the clutch shaft diagram they only have me buying 4. So you're suggesting I also get bearings 2&5 from the clutch shaft diagram? Thanks again for your support. Carl

    Clutch Chatter

The service manager gave me a list of other parts that should be replaced in addition to the clutch pack. They were clutch pushrod, pushrod seals, pushrod bearing guide, pushrod bearing assembly, cylinder, rear main seal and the elusive thrust needle roller bearing. Do you think that covers...

    Clutch Chatter

I had posted here when my clutch plate failed at 5k in 2013 and now the same thing happened just after 50k. In June I walked out a grocery store back to the bike and when I tried to start it the clutch spring must have locked everything up. I checked with AF1 and MG didn't have the clutch pack...

Oregon's only MG dealer going belly up

I was shocked when I drove by the Portland guzzi shop and it's gone. I had to leave the Stelvio in Texas this past March when we went to my house outside Portland to shelter from covid. They are gone from the MG dealership lookup tool.

    V85 TT Info

I got to ride one yesterday and again today at a ride event in Portland. The clutch pull was light. It accelerated nicely. They were still in break in and they had set low shift points so it was easy to light up the dash when getting on the throttle. I think you will need to setup shift...
