Finally had an opportunity to check the swing arm adjustment. The two sides are not equal. Left side is just over 8mm and the right side is almost 5mm. While on the center stand, I set up a prybar under the rear tire to relieve some rear weight on the swing arm pins for adjustment. When I pressed down on the lever to relieve the weight, I heard a clicking sound and discovered both rear shocks lower bushings are worn out. There is a measured 16th” of play on each shock connection. New shocks are on the way, so I’ll wait until they come in before I test ride the bike. Hopefully correcting the swinging arm adjustment, new rear shocks and bushings will take care of my little bit of 60+ mph wobble.
