'06 Nevada Baffling Start Issue

Hello

I have an '06 Nevada 750 Classic that refuses to start, taken multiple steps to diagnose and fix the problem but running out of ideas. The bike turns over strongly with a new battery and will cough on each cylinder individually with easy start sprayed into the injector hole.

Sounds like a fuel issue right? Using GuzziDiag and by cranking I have isolated each injector individually and both are fully operational. I have spark and fuel on both cylinders. Air then seems obvious but using an e cig with the tank off I can see it is pulling air in to some degree through the intake.

I am struggling as the bike has air, fuel and spark!

Crank sensor is functional as they all fire with the starter rotating, I am thinking possibly a fuel pressure issue or an air pressure issue. Have not removed airbox to check for blockages as I didn't think it likely. When it fired on easy start the injector was out (able to draw air) which I realise does not help diagnosing whether air or fuel.

Thought I would post here in case there is something I am missing? I am not experienced with Guzzis but built a few Ducatis in the past with similar electrics.

To confuse things further (possibly a red herring) left plug was dry when removed despite the left injector visibly firing while out of the bike for testing.

Background: Bike has sat for 10 years, was put away due to same issue as now. Fuel has been changed, fully charged car battery connected.

I would appreciate any advice that can be given, thank you.

Using GuzziDiag...

Now, in an OTHERWISE functioning cylinder with good compression, all that is needed to fire over is fuel and spark to make a "bang". So, if you are positive you have fuel, and if you are positive you have spark, then you need to get positive that you have compression.

You may have a valve that is too tight and staying open.

A quick compression test and leaddown test will give you valuable information.

My Griso came with the GT-Rx exhaust when I bought it over 5 years ago, and I've added more GT parts since then. I love your stuff and your effort, and I talk about your stuff every time someone asks me about my bike! :wasntme:
