I just checked throttle balance on my NTX and noticed a neoprene line near and behind the LH throttle body not landing anywhere. I assume it needs to be hooked into something, but what?

Picture would help. Could be from the evap system and connects to the nipple on the left manifold.

The only line down there is the evaporative charcoal canister line which is factory attached to the banjo vacuum line connector underneath the intake manifold.

If somebody pulled it off then they would have had to cap off the banjo vacuum line connector.

@scottmastrocinque , I am familiar with that Banjo connector, they are on both manifolds and still hooked up. I removed the evap system from my Griso and plugged those holes. I have not done that yet to the Stelvio. This is a different hose from those, and also different than the ones @john zibell spoke of. Those two are hooked up to the back sides of both intakes. This is separate and looks like it joins with a fitting near the top of the crankcase in the middle of engine. I'm trying to post a pic but haven't figured that out yet.

Also best to post the photo on this site as photos can disappear from linked sites.
I haven't figured out how yet. Bike seems to run perfectly. No feel of pressure one way or the other when running. Without the tank off I can't see much more. That's for next week. Tomorrow off for John Day.

At the bottom of each entry box is a button to attach files. That is how you load a picture or other type of file to the site.

Photo of my brand new, 2012.

Your hose has been changed it would seem.

Thanks!

The gearbox on many models is vented to the atmosphere through an open ended hose, usually only found near the airbox with the tank off. Previous maintenance could have left it "dangling" where it is visible.

Thanks Scott. Can't see much due to the dark shadows beyond the surface. When I get back I will remove the evap system per your excellent video. I'm sure I will get the full story then. Thanks for your help and for making those super videos. That takes a lot of work to do it right.
