Has anyone tried running a V11 sport ecu in a 1100 California with a Raceco SS3 Cam and Kibblewhite Valve Springs?
The Ballabio Ecm is a 15.C5, My 02 Stone uses a 15M.C6, so are these are vastly different?

No. Both are 15M, however the V11 Sport ECU has significant firmware differences. I can't go into details further from there. I can be of help remotely using your ECU with fueling and timing via the full kit below (ONLY). No other talk here on other options.

The bike I want to put the cam in is a 2002 California Stone. It currently does not have an O2 sensor, but if necessary, I suppose I could add one. Since it doesn't come stock with an O2 sensor, I figured the Autotune module would not work. I can see that this endeavor is going to take some research.

OK, that clarifies things. So you are looking to put a Raceco cam in your Cal 1100 Stone. A V11 Sport ECU swap was popular when the bikes were newer, but I've proven it's a bad idea. You can take my advice (as the site owner HERE) or not. My Jackal's evolution;

I totally believe you, I love what you have done with the GTM bikes. In your work with the Jackal, what worked best?

My 2002 Stone ran great with ported heads, open air box, Power Commander, a 10 spring clutch and flywheel out of a Lemans, stiffer clutch springs, a Stucci cros over and Lafranconi Competition mufflers. I have ridden it over 100k miles, until last weekend when the engine locked up. I suspect the timing chain tensioner failed, and the timing chain got bound up. Luckily it doesn't appear to have hurt the pistons, just may have kissed the valves and knocked a little carbon off the top of the Sinestro piston. That's all I could see with the bore scope. I am now just trying to figure out a rebuild, and upgrade plan, to gather the parts. I have a set of FBF pistons, that I ran for a while, gave a little more power but didn't like sitting at stop lights in 100 degree weather. So I put the stock pistons back in. Maybe I should just put it back together the way it was?
Do you have any suggestions for the next iteration of my build? Or do you think it is maxed out now for performance vs. reliability? Like I said, I am just hunting for ideas at this point.

Head porting and proper fueling for more air and flow (exhaust) was best. No high compression. Budget? How much work do you want to tackle? A motor swap is most cost effective. It’s all here for the reading.

Okay, motor swap, are you saying to do a GTM style swap on my Stone? Or something else? I have machine tools, welders, my first job was machinist,then electrician, I am now a gas control tech. I am still trying to decide the route to take. Maybe best to just put this bike back together the way it was, and obtain a 8v 1200 Carc setup for a custom build?
I have always wanted to build a custom Moto Guzzi, just never had the time. I may retire soon, so that will become one of my projects. For now, I am just looking at getting my Stone back on the road, and doing some upgrades,like a hotter cam, timing gears instead of the chain. I guess the V11 Ballibio ecu I bought was not a good idea, so now I am thinking the cam and timing gears are also not necessary. I probably should just get it back the way it was, I don't want it to end up like my '73 Triumph Bonneville, needing work, gathering dust.
