Recently bought a 2007 1200 sport and the oil warning has come up. Is ok when starting and ticks over then as soon as it revs up the warning comes on. It has 35k miles on the clock so my reckoning is if its a faulty pump, it would have gone by now. So Im hoping its the sensor or wiring.
Id like to test the oil pressure with a gauge. Is there an easy connectiing point? Failing that I will remove the sensor and fit a gauge on a flying lead.
Where is the sensor located? The manual I have downloadrd doesn't show where it is or how to access it. What is the thread on the sensor?
Many thanks for your help.
