I've looked at a stock pic and don't see anything there just plugs.the evap system is gone.thank you.

I doubt it’s totally gone.

Usually people pull off the charcoal canister from the rear of the Norge but the lines are all still attached.

Yours are most definitely still attached as showing in your photo.

The reason they are not showing in the stock photos is because almost without exception, photos are of European configured motorcycles and charcoal canisters are not used in Europe.

Must be plug somewhere. No lines where canister was.next time I remove tank I'll look closer.

Line from tank is down buy other hoses, the line you see on intake manifold MOST likely just connects the 2 spigots together, so it's easy to tune. There may be a T in that line w/cap on it if they didn't put a strait line across.

Thank you.im the 3rd owner of this bike.its had everything right done to it.its truly a blast...but working on it is not a pleasure for me.

Canister on that one was in tailpiece, hoses ran along the frame. I always ran the cap drain & vent line down by the hose plugged, it is for airbox drain. Check it out.

I do know I'm going to run valve cover vents to the ground.get rid tube you have to drain.

Do NOT do this. The 8V pushes an incredible amount of oil out of the cam breather tubes to the breather system. The drain line is from the air box.

Plugs? When the evap has been properly disconnected, most run that rubber hose from one side to the other (I recommend it this way too). The canister is normally under the passenger seat.

Well thank you for that advice.i will say this bike came from California originally. It has everything from your catalog. Matris fork kit rear shock, stainless exhaust, muffler mount crack fixed all the fueling from you. point here is it runs amazing .most fun on a motorcycle I've had in a long time.

Todd...is there an advantage to running a hose between them as opposed to just capping the fittings off? I was going to cap them off after I balance my TB's...figured that's how they're set up outside of the US, then I saw your recommendation above and want to be sure I'm not missing something!

6 of one, half dozen of another. On Tonti bikes, the fitting is large, and it just so happens a BMW vacuum cap is a perfect fit. On the CARC bikes, the fitting is much smaller so it easy an fix is to just use one of the hoses removed from the evap system to run side to side. That leaves the fitting in place for when you want to balance throttle bodies.
