Hi, Everyone I hope someone can give me some guidance.

I'm trying to install the tail light on my moto guzzi and was looking at the wiring diagram and wanted to know what is the 4 connector amp that connects to the original tail light and rear turn signal and how the connector functions. I don't seem to see that connector in the wiring harness i have on my moto guzzi and every time I'm trying to connect the tail light i get a blown fuse. unnamed.gif

If you are blowing a fuse, then that path is going directly to ground. Check the wiring to the tail light and double check your wire colors. If you are using a test light or multi meter, make sure the wires in the harness you are trying to connect to are the correct ones before attempting to connect the lights. The connector you are looking for could have been removed any time in the past.

I don't think there is an AMP connector on the 850-T, but rather individual "bullet" terminals. Here's a photo of the 850-T harness Gregory Bender sells. He makes then to match the originals and this shows male bullets terminals for the taillight (yellow wire) and brake (black wire). wiring_mainharness_850t_1.webp

It seems like the wires were cut in the original wiring harness and had to attach new wires. i believe i used 16 gauge wires. Do you know what might be the correct size.

If there wasn't one originally, then you don't need one now.

If the harness has been hacked, then you might consider replacing it. Gregory Bender sells excellent harnesses at a reasonable cost. thisoldtractor.com/for_sale_wiring_harness_tonti_850_t.html
