Hello.

Just got my first motorcycle, a 2007 Griso. I won't be riding it till April after I take the DOT motorcycle class. But I'm excited to meet other owners and learn a little about these bikes. My understanding is that the Moto Guzzi’s are not very common in the US compared to other brands. (I understand this isn't exactly a learner bike.)IMG_7083.webpIMG_5342.webpIMG_5341.webp

1st Griso I rode after doing a service on it, I got my LH foot stuck under shifter in the 1st curve. Once stood up I rode on balls of my feet on pegs. Just in case you have big feet, ride safe. Add info in the Griso section, have fun.

Lordy, I miss my Griso.

IMO, it is a much better multi-day tourer than it might seem.

Lots of that sort of impression is, of course, a function of ergos and those are a function of our various body "specs." In my case -- 30" inseam, etc. -- those were perfect. After saying that, and in the interest of full disclosure, as I wrote tat, I remembered that I did add some adjustable foot pegs to lower my boots a bit.

Best wishes for a long riding season and miles of smiles for years ahead.

Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum & Guzzi Famiglia. Take it you have other two wheel experience as yes, it’s a big motorcycle for a first. Thanks for adding your info to the Registry already. I’ll talk more there. Enjoy/Cheers.

My only two-wheel experience is with bicycles. The motorcycle was not my first choice, I was going to buy a Janus 450, however my wife surprised me with this!
