Just got it firing!
I'm looking to replace the rear tail light assembly on my 2000 Jackal. The housing has cracked and both indicators are hanging off, and an attempted plastic repair has likewise failed.
Anyway, the issue I have is how in heck do you get the old assembly off the bike? It is held in place by a single bolt, plus has two mushroom headed lugs that go through rubber mounting grommets. These lugs are secured in place by what looks like a washer/spring washer combo that has been pressed over the mounting lugs. I can't see how to remove them. My understanding is that this is the "Type 2" mounting method.
Has anyone any clues on how to do this?
